I lived in Arkansas for the AF(ex husband), and shopped here quite frequently. The owner seemed pretty nice, and their chicken salad is on point! I did buy some bad chicken there a couple times, only to get home and find that out. That was pretty frustrating to say the least. Their beef was always really good. Only time they really made me irritated, is when I bought beef jerky and they had over marinated? It… it was so salty it made your mouth pucker. When I told them about it they were totally aware and didn’t offer a refund. They told me it would be good for stew… that isn’t what it was bought for. After that I didn’t really shop there nearly as often.

My parents have used this meat market for over 20 years. They love it, and I love it! The owners are very friendly and offer help whenever it is needed. This husband and wife couple are very outgoing and a pleasure to talk to. My dad has dropped off several deer that he killed to have processed into packages of different meats on multiple occasions. They offer a few different options on butchering and processing that are very reasonably priced. If you walk in to choose some items for a single night you have a large variety to choose from. They have beef, chicken, pork, etc. You name it… they probably have it! They also have a nice variety of sauces, rubs, and condiments. I love their homemade BBQ sauce!

I shop here several times a year. I would go more often, but it’s out of my way. However, when I want the best meat available in Cabot this is where I go. Their selection and variety is very good considering Cabot is a small town. Their prices are reasonable. The store smells and looks clean. They also do deer processing.

Found this gem a few years back. My big regret was that I lived in Cabot for two years and only decided to go to this place a few days before I deployed. In a nut shell, there really isn’t a downside to this place. I spent $ 85 on six steaks last week and it was worth every last penny. The steaks were beautifully marbled, slightly, and were cut to the perfect thickness; each steak caramelized beautifully on the grill and was insanely flavorful and tender. I have also purchased chicken, pork chops, ground turkey, marinades, and sides here; all of which were fantastic. My only complaint was with the ground turkey, it was ground too finely. I made bacon-wrapped turkey meatloaf and the turkey, although very tasty, was mushy and had an off-putting texture. Grind it corse!!! Also, Cabot Meat Market will dress, prep, and cut animals you hunt and kill. It’s nice knowing that there are people still around that are willing to put forth the effort to run a small business focused on quality, instead of just selling meat. I don’t buy my meat on base or at Kroger, I take the extra time to stop by this place. Just want to say ‘bravo!’ Cabot Meat Market! Your place is awesome and I tell everyone about your business. I will continue to buy from your place, it is the best place in Cabot. I tell everyone to avoid Colton’s Steakhouse. Support the small, local business who’s aim is quality and hospitality, plus you save a lot of money buying steaks and grilling them yourselves.
