The villa is a fantastic example of an authentic Italian restaurant yes there are some narrow minded people that will call it a hole in the wall or other things just because it is out of the way however it is very enjoyable very cost effective and yes you do take most of your meal home with you because you cannot finish it. they do have mini meals but I recommend spending the price and then taking your food home with you that way it’s a better value. Their secret is their sweet sauce.

This restaurant should be called Pennsylvania Dutch Italian. The red sauce is sweet as sugar. If sugared tomato sauce is your preference, you’d like it. I made the mistake of ordering chicken scallopine, which I thought would be like Macaroni Grill’s. I got a pale white chicken breast floating in something which was like chicken broth mixed with some cornstarch, and sliced mushrooms, chopped bell pepper, and a few onion slices. It was bland and unappetizing. That being said, I complained and wasn’t charged for my meal. My husband ordered Chicken Penne, and it was tasty, but mine was flavorless.

Outstanding! Small, hole in the wall place… but absolutely outstanding food. Portion sizes are huge and everything they make is delicious. It’s been a family favorite place for us since I was a child and I hope it is around for generations to come!

Overview: Falsetti’s Villa is on the upper end of Italian food(I have eaten at plenty of Italian places and comparably this one was really good!). Surprisingly good for not much competition around it! Atmosphere: Family-oriented place. Very busy at the time I went. Small town community atmosphere. I wouldn’t suggest this place for a romantic date but great for going out with family or friends. Casual dining. Drinks: The beer list is somewhat limited. I would suggest adding more to the bottle selection. Food: Our meals included house salads: They were great! Meals also come with a bread basket — standard Italian bread with butter. Nothing too special but nice to keep your mouths full until your entrees arrive. I ordered pasta and marinara sauce, along with a side of garlic bread. The marinara sauce was definitely made fresh and was delicious. Great texture. My companions really liked their meals as well. Come HUNGRY because the portions are gigantic. You will probably leave with some of your food boxed. Price: Medium range. But you get a lot of food. Service: Friendly no complaints.

I have been enjoying this place for the last 38 years! I don’t think that the décor has changed much through the years. Be prepared to wait in lines on Friday and Saturday evenings. No credit/debit cards are acepted. Bring cash. Casual dress is the norm. The French Onion soup at one time was a 9 but in the last 5 years has dropped to a 6 ½. Fried fish always a favorite along with lasagna and sandwiches and most pasta dishes. Prices very reasonable and staff is always friendly and fast. In a nut shell, I have many great family memories here and we continue to make more. The food is great homestyle dishes. Not gourmet. People come from all over to eat here. Varied Italian menu that is sure to please.

I can make better Italian food at home, and I am German and Irish. The prices are too high for the quality of the food. The food is never great. The atmosphere isn’t good either, I always feel claustrophobic in there. I don’t like having my beverage served in a can when I’m at a restaurant. Even McDonald’s has fountain beverages! I’ve been to this place about 10 times now because I kept giving it more chances since the locals keep raving about it, and each time I went, I ordered a different dish. The only thing that I recommend from this place is the salad. They will serve you a large portion of very fresh and crisp vegetables and if you ask for cheese, they are very generous with the amount they use. If you want a great Italian dish, go to the Olive Garden. The one at the Pittsburgh Mills mall is great and the prices are about the same.
