Wow, what an excellent experience for my first trip to Da Goose!
I will preface this by saying that it was pretty empty (around 4 p.m.), so I had the amazing staff all to myself. I should say that Cody is an awesome bartender AND it’s her birthday in a few days; however, regardless of when you read this, you should buy her a shot! The two cooks are stellar and made some first class pub grub. Brian is a stud and, even though he’s probably meant for bigger things, I hope the goose keeps him around a while.
Happy hour drink specials are awesome. Domestic drafts for $ 2.00 and craft brews for $ 3.75. The bar food is some of the best I’ve had and should kind of surprise you. The wings were awesome. I tried both bbq and hot, and I definitely preferred the hot wings with bleu cheese. The finger steaks are easily the best I’ve had in the state. The batter is light and crisp, almost like tempura batter. The steaks even had a little pink on the inside, which I loved (bc when I cook ‘em, they’re usually bloody rare).
You could do way worse than to get a few drinks and some quality bar food at The Goose. Give it a try, making some conversation with the outgoing, friendly staff, and make sure you can get home!

Closing when we walked in at 930 pm. The liquid marijuana i ordered had half the alcahol it should have yet still spendy. Dont recommend.

There grill closes far to early. The service here as compared to the Boise location is like comparing a Applebee’s to a Mcdonalds. I came to for there wonderful clams and walked out with a 6 $ beer and no food. Worst. Time. Ever.

Tuesdays are 2 – 1 burger night. They have a good selection of very tasty burgers. They are accompanied by fries, tots or onion rings. There are also a wide variety of bevvies on tap, served by friendly hometown staff who will chat with you like a friend.
This is a great place to meet up w someone you’d like to visit with or to feed a family. They have updated this place and it is now bright, friendly and clean.
Best place for a «real non-​chain» burger in Caldwell.

Stopped in for lunch during a conference over at the C of I. The atmosphere was decent for a sports pub — of course it was during a slow time and the smoke was almost non-​existent. The servers were prompt and accurate and the food was OK, I say OK because I am not sure if my stomach agreed with my head…
