I came here with a living social deal for a european face lift. When I got there (on time) I waited another 20 minutes. She saw me and said I didn’t need a face lift instead she gave me a fruit peel and a facial (don’t remember what it was called).
I felt like she should of told me to return the groupon or get something with that value. Instead she gave me two services that did not match the value. Even still she was very nice. At the end she pushed a face scrub. I feel like it didn’t do anything. Overall, it was an okay experience, my skin didn’t seem any different.
She did reach out to me to follow up on my skin but I don’t see any improvements whatsoever.

If I could, I would never give this service a star! Worst facial experience ever in my life! The owner, Yolanda accused me for not showing up at a certain time and date that I made that appointment online which I have rescheduled it to a different date and time on the same day that I made this appointment. I received a confirmation email after I rescheduled my appointment. However the facial service that I paid for full price got shorten into express facial which I didn’t enjoy it at all. Moreover I didn’t feel welcomed when I stepped in to her spa. I will never go back!

I starting getting facials with Yolanda last year and I’ve seen such an improvement that I am thrilled. She is very knowledgeable not only with facials but all types of skin care and gives great advice. The Speranzi Products are equally as wonderful as Yolanda. If anyone is thinking of getting a facial or needs advice on how to care for their skin, you definitely need to contact Yolanda at Speranzi Facials. You will not be sorry, she’s amazing!

Ok, long story short, this is not the facial spa for you if you are looking for a luxurious spa, replete with dim lighting, Zen music and soft fluffy robes. The spa itself is clean, neat and almost European spartan, housed in a small unassuming building on Bloomfield Ave in Caldwell, NJ.
What you do get is the total attention and knowledge of a true skin care expert. Yolanda, the owner, practices what she preaches and works tirelessly to ensure you, her customer get the best treatment, with the proper products to ensure the best results. She is an educator who willingly instructs and coaches her clients. And yes, the results are noticeable from the initial treatment. I also brought my 17 year old daughter who had acne style break outs on her face and unlike other teen facials, there were no «popping the zits» — just proper treatment, products and instruction. Her skin never looked better.
The products themselves are all natural, priced better than fair and most importantly very effective.
This Spa is not a franchised business, it is owner operated, in fact Yolanda runs the whole show and when not actually working in the spa, she is very involved in lecturing and instructing. She is totally committed to her customers and this type of dedication and customer service is all too rare today-​and I’m a customer service type of guy.
I’ve been to many spas, all more «fancy» but never had a better, more effective facial or treated so well as by Yolanda at Speranzi. So very highly recommended. Your skin will thank you.‘

Yolanda offers the «Madonna» treatment: a facial massage designed to relax and rejuvenate, without the use of chemicals or plastic surgery.
The experience was relaxing & uplifting plus, she is very generous with skincare advice and intuitive knowledge.

Yolanda is truly amazing! I came to her 2 weeks ago with adult acne and she worked wonders. My skin feels better & is clearing up. I love all her DIY home remedies & organic products. I will definitely keep coming to her and recommend her.

I saw Yolanda about 3 weeks ago for an acne facial. It was great. Better than i expected. I have been struggling with adult acne for a few years now and tried millions of products and different estheticians. She is the best. I’ve been going to this spa for a couple of years and always get a good service and a great advice. This is one person spa and the owner, Yolanda is providing the services. I like the fact that I can book appointments online.
Yolanda not only does great facials, she also gives a lot of advice on home care. She has her own product line but she never pushes you to buy it and can advice you on the products you currently own or would like to purchase from other lines. Yolanda periodically offers discounts and has a monthly membership at reduced price. Yolanda always spends enough time on your skin to make sure all issues are addressed and I never feel being rushed.
I’ve been going to different spas for facials for over 20 years and this is definitely one of the best!

I’m not sure why anyone is saying they were treated rudely, because I had the complete opposite experience! Yolanda was very nice and attentive. I did wait a little, but i was in no rush. She left her customer, to come and tend to me as i walked in, and even gave me tea, as it was cold and raining. The experience and treatment i received was beyond what i expected. I did use a Groupon, because this was my first time there and wanted to try a place out that i could use in the future. She helped me with my skin care routine, and her products are amazing, in which i purchased. She was not pushy, and said if i would like to return, i do not have to until another 3 months, which most businesses do not say because they just want you to come back, even if you do not need to only for your money. I will be returning :)

The first experience with Speranzi was great. The second time, my daughter was going to go and there was some confusion about the time of her appointment. I had specified a certain time via the online scheduling tool and I ended up discovering, at the last minute, that the scheduled time was different — off by half an hour. My daughter probably didn’t see the time change in the confirmation email. I called the spa and I was treated very, very rudely. Not that I expect people in a service industry to bend over backwards for me or anyone else, but there’s no acceptable excuse for being unnecessarily abrupt and rude. I’ve subsequently found another spa and have become a regular there. Their services are fantastic and everyone there is friendly and pleasant. I think Speranzi’s services are good, but if you’re going to be rude and unhelpful, you won’t get my return business. There’s a lot of competition in the area. Why go to someone who is unpleasant?

I have been going to Speranzi for over 5 years. I love Yolanda and her facials. She gives great advice and has wonderful products to compliment her services. I will continue to use Speranzi for all of my facial needs!

I have been to Speranzi several times for an assortment of facials/​treatments. I just love the results. My face originally had the texture of a very fine sandpaper. Now it is like silk. Yolanda’s facial massage is like a «deep tissue» massage for the body. It has been an uplifting experience. I like the fact that she always has some specials which makes it more affordable. The facial wash with the citrus smell works great. I use it twice a day in the morning and evening. I have been to other spas and never got the results that I have gotten here. I highly recommend Yolanda/​Speranzi.

Stay Clear if you are redeeming a Groupon coupon!!! When I called to make an appointment for a facial which I purchased through Groupon, I was surprised at the arrogant attitude of the receptionist. When she asked if this was through Groupon, I was told that there wasn’t availability for 2 ½ weeks. I have booked facials at very upscale spas in San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston, etc. and never have waited this long for an appointment. She then asked the usual info. but then needed the bar code from the coupon which I found quite unusual. Instead of feeling welcomed to the spa, I felt second rate to those that pay full price. Today I arrived for my previously confirmed appointment to find that I forgot my coupon. Terrible me. Let’s remember, however, that I am the customer. Instead of being treated kindly and understanding,(I find it hard to believe that I am the first client that has forgotten the coupon) I was berated and refused the service. This was the same woman I made the appointment with over the phone. Shame on them. I live close to the salon and was looking for a convenient place for routine skin care. Because of her attitude, I will never step foot in this salon again and will not recommend it to anyone based on her attitude towards clients. Spas should be a very enjoyable experience. The front line receptionist at this spa needs to be instructed on how to interact with clients in a much kinder fashion.

I’ve been to many spas over the years but this place, within a short distance from NYC, is phenomenal. Yolanda is a savvy, innovative pro who managed to restore my skin from months of travel fatigue. Now I can look into the mirror without breaking it. Try their in-​house skin products. Amazing value and amazing effectiveness.
