A great experience for an old guy like me!

When we heard from our dentist that we needed to see an orthodontist regarding our son’s teeth, we were unsure of what the typical steps in treatment were. Thank goodness they referred us over to Dr. Hannapel!
Our original consult was very detailed and gave us an excellent idea of what the treatment plan was going to be. Instead of jumping in and getting started right away, he actually had us hold off for a bit until a few more baby teeth fell out and a few more adult teeth moved into place. It was almost a year later before the expander went in and treatment began.
My son never complains about going to his visits. The entire office is kid friendly and offers them independence. They are responsible for checking themselves in, brushing their teeth and being ready for their appointment. The staff is always friendly and willing to do that little bit extra to put a kid at ease.
Dr. Hannapel makes braces cool and all the kids at school know who he is. He talks to the kids on their level and in their language :) What other Dr calls my son «Dude» or talks to him about Bakugans?
From the adult side of things I appreciate flexible payment plans, the online account to view account balances, appointments, x-​rays, etc. Thank you for the wonderful coffee and wi-​fi during my son’s appointments!
