McDonald’s

Worst drive thru customer service of any fast food restaurant in the area (this McD’s should send their staff over to BoJangles or Krystal for some good customer service training). Can’t speak to the inside cleanliness of the restaurant because I always make the mistake of hitting the drive thru (lesson learned this time). The only reason that I’m not giving them 1 star is because the food wasn’t bad at all (once I finally got it).

Every six months or so I cautiously wander back into the only McDonalds in Calhoun, Georgia because I’ll get a hankering for a Big Mac or some Chicken McNuggets and every time I leave swearing I’ll never go back.
This place is just plain horrible. You never know what you’re going to get… hot, warm, cold… who knows? Service is terrible. Foul odor in the dining area. My last order (drive thru) they left out a large fries. It’s just bad. All around bad.

The tables where dirty! The area around the fountain drinks was so nasty and was out of napkins and little cups for Ketchup.
The workers where so SLOW OMG THIS HAS GOT TO BE A District Managers Nightmare they so need to get some training and some in house keeping!

Don’t let the shiny exterior fool you, this is a terrible version of the golden arches. The restaurant on the inside is frequently almost as clean as your friendly neighborhood landfill, the drive thru line is frequently time consuming, and the packers of food inside frequently get your order horribly wrong. (Also, the fact that many of the employees just look like they’d rather be snack food for a roving herd of zombies than be at their job is depressing.)
Frequently disappointing all around, which is why I refuse to go there anymore.
The disappointment factor goes up considering that just a few years ago this McDonalds was awesome. They were always fast, always clean, and generally an upgrade over other fast food restaurants in the area. What happened?

It’s Mickey D’s! I stopped here after not eating much of the day, but before I got on the interstate. DIdn’t go inside, so I can’t speak for the cleanliness, but they had snazzy new double lanes and I didn’t wait very long in the drive thru.

McDonald’s — usually always a 2 star in my books, they get the extra star for their new renovation. They place looks much better. Also — they parfaits are not so bad.
