Shag Salon

I really like Shag. The stylists are always friendly, and I love the ambiance of the salon. You can gaze at the silver antique ceiling tiles when having your hair washed and admire the exposed brick walls while getting your hair cut.
My only complaint: I’ve been to this salon several times, and I’ve always used the same method of payment. At my most recent visit – which took place in mid-​December – when I handed the stylist my Mastercard, I was informed that they won’t be taking credit cards anymore… at least until February. The issue was easily resolved by writing a check, but I might suggest that because the salon previously accepted cards, a sign should be placed at the door alerting customers of the change. Such a strategy might help avoid confusion.
Other than that, I highly recommend Shag and look forward to returning there in the future… with cash.
