We got in on the tail end of the buffet. I suspect if we would have gotten here earlier it would have gotten an extra star. The stand out for me was the dessert carrot pudding and the friendliest waitress I have had in a long time. It’s great to have this restaurant attached to a motel. I wish all motels could have this convenient and potentially great of a restaurant nearby.

My wife and I drove an hour to check out the Curry House for the weekend buffet($ 11.99). We will be back! Excellent flavors. The malai kofta and yellow dal dishes were incredible. My wife raved about the chicken dishes. The buffet offered some lovely variety — and even had french fries and chicken nuggets for the non-Indian food palates. My wife said the mango lassi was one of the best she’s had. Ignore the décor and location … the Curry House is a nice surprise in Calhoun!

Had the lunch buffet. Food was good. Not nearly as good as some of the other Indian places I’ve been to, but«hey», this is lunchtime in Calhoun on a Wednesday. Waitresses were very attentive for a buffet. I liked it, but probably a little too pricey for a lunch buffet with nothing really expensive on it. $ 10(then add a drink and tip gets you near $ 15).

Don’t let being attached to the Econolodge deter you, this place was great! Lamb Vindaloo was perfect and the ambience was great. Waitress was a sweetheart. Give this place a try!

First Thursday book club meeting in back room. A little dim as they are into mood lighting, but it didn’t stop the food from being awesome. Chicken 65 for appetizer, goat biryani was perfectly spiced and HUGE! Waitress very attentive. Good time was had by all.

We love the food here! The buffet is excellent and their garlic naan is top notch! My only complaint is the service is rather slow and I don’t mean just the wait for the food to be cooked!

No offense guys, but I’m starting to think the folks in Calhoun didn’t have much access to Indian food before this place opened. It was okay — and yes, we had the buffet. The disappointingly limited Sunday buffet. The Kaju Curry was nice, and the Samosas were lovely but the rest was just meh … and don’t get me started on the«sweet» tea, it didn’t have any flavor whatsoever. Will we go out of our way to eat there again like we do the places in Chattanooga? No. I’d rather go the extra miles for a more varied, tasty buffet.

Excellent food! Have eaten here a couple of times now and the food is superb. Service is outstanding as well. Whether you are new to Indian cuisine or not, this is the place for you.
