I have no idea about what the bad review was about:
I have been using Rick for years and he’s always professional, on-​time, and does excellent work. I have gotten to know Rick over the years, he’s done new bathroom, kitchen, flooring, plumbing, electrical and a beautiful custom shelf in our kitchen.
I’m amazed at his knowledge that spans across many skill sets. He never left a job or project without being sure I was COMPLETELY satisfied.
I am a real customer, not Rich’s brother-​in-​law or nephew or cousin.
For reasonable prices, you get a lot done by Richard. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Richard’s Home Improvements.

What can you say of someone who takes your money, wastes your time and runs away without completing your job. This is a live example of a fraud. We decided on 21K for my basement. It was a 4 week job. I was told a crew would come in but there was only one person to do the entire basement. Bad job management. For what should have been done in 4 weeks, after 8 weeks it was still not done. And then I get a text message saying that the job will be discontinued. Needless to say it was a financial loss. I’ve attached a photo of a wall which has a hidden faucet and a hidden electrical outlet over which it was built. This apart from the fact that it was crooked.
PS: If anyone is in doubt about hiring this cheat, plz get in touch with me. I can give you complete proof of when the project started (contract signed), when it ended, permit dates, when Rick he left, how much he got paid and how much he cheated me. I can provide you with scans, pictures etc. That’s all I have to say.
Just so you know his name is Richard (Rick) Prouty and not Henry as he was claiming a few days ago. Hope it helps. God bless.
@ Rick: I put a fair review but you have been going around lying all the time. I’d like to know how many people have provided you with coffee twice a day, water throughout your work period and my refrigerator that you eventually screwed up to keep you cool. If you had issues you should have brought it up. HOPE YOU LEARN A LESSON FROM THIS: NEVER WALK AWAY FROM A JOB. IT COST ME ONE AND A HALF MONTH EXTRA (ABOVE YOUR 8 WEEKS) AND ALMOST 4K EXTRA TO PUT THINGS IN PLACE. BUT I DID IT after hiring another contractor and putting in a few weeks myself. Hence this review.
