Azecta Market

Stopped in for a quick bite before Tractor Parade. Highly recommend burritos. Nice market with full service meat counter, to order Mexican deli, fresh baked goods and good produce selection. A couple of tables out front would be nice but there is ample parking and the service was excellent.

Azecta Market is the name on the outside, Puerto Vallarta Market appears on the receipt. just the facts. Market is a full service mexican grocery: taqueria, beers & mexican milk products, panaderia, carniceria (fresh meats/​seafood), spices, canned goods, fruits.

–better than average size, good value
–lenguq tender cubles, pastor spicy, didn’t taste fried.
–taqueria reasonably priced for calistoga (burrito, 6.95+)
frijoles refritos:
–young taqueria worker definite eye candy for some patrons
–husky cashier is quik checking patrons out when not fetching goods.
–large parking lot.
–only mexican patrons seen
–workers very professional, bi-​lingual
no doubt patrons are diverse, depends on the time.
–worth dropping by to escape tourist pricing downtown.
