Bargain Basket

I have no idea how this place pays the rent.
It’s nice enough inside but the inventory is junk.
The gal working there was nice, not her fault.
But suspected they would have more decent stuff.
Maybe worth a stop just in case there is a find.

A real thrift store in Calistoga. Hard to believe but there is a real thrift store in town. The owner is personable and fun to work with and this little shop has a wide array of inventory. From vintage clothing and high end foot wear to knick knacks and collectibles. All items we looked at and purchased were reasonably priced and as well we were able to negotiate discounts on bundled items. Overall this little shop, located just as you turn onto Lincoln Ave into Calistoga on the left hand side, is a real treasure trove of thrift items and merchandize.
If you like to thrift and are looking for an option in this cool little town then give the bargain basket a try. Opens at 10 am. There is a really cool little inner court yard area with a water fountain and benches we enjoyed sitting in the shade and relaxing before continuing on our day of shopping.

True to its name, there are bargains to be had here. There was even a rack of $ 1 clothing. As with most thrift stores, there’s a random assortment of stuff, but that makes it fun. The store is relatively clean and organized. The racks aren’t as packed as other thrift stores, which makes it nicer to browse. And it’s truly a small business; it seems to be run by just one woman who pretty much does everything herself.

This place very nice. The gal behind the counter said hi when we walked in and treated really nice. Pus the prices were awesome. We found a Coach purse for cheap! Really liked it here.

Fun little thrift store. Really nice lady behind the counter. Most prices were quite reasonable, especially for the area. Found some great items with my wife. Great location right when you enter Calistoga!
