Westmoreland Players Inc

I was in the area to do some volunteer work and saw the side announcing a production of Harold & Maude in nearby Callo. My schedule was such that I was able to pop over for a Saturday matinée and I’m so very, very glad I took the time to do so. The freestanding building is adorable, the lobby is roomy yet cozy with café tables, all the refreshments are home made, and the bar has some decent beer and wine choices. Theatre seats are comfy. Above all else, though, is the quality of the performance. While some of the cast was young (think high school) and inexperienced, they get big points for effort. The lead roles, though, were outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to see another play here were I in the area.
