Believe me, they don’t care(reviews below). It is probably a tax write off at this point. Nothing changes in the store and its true, they have the arrogance of not lowering prices for over a dozen years. I used to be a regular in the 90s. I am not even sure the owners come in anymore. The only thing good about it, is that the space itself is charming and always worked for an antique shop.

This store used to be great. Now it’s dying. First of all, there is stuff there for no less than 15 years! I know this for a fact. Worse, they never lower prices. I mean, how could you have something marked $ 400.00 for fifteen years? I mean, come on. It’s not selling. Lower it and maybe it will. It is more like a museum and becoming a shabby one at that. They don’t want to give in and lower prices. Shame.

I came here yesterday and had an experience that bothered me for hours. While they do have a good collection of antiques, the prices are all obscenely high and clearly cater to tourists in the area with lots to spend. I found a blue jacket that I loved but was missing its buttons. I asked the woman if she would be willing to go down a couple bucks because I would need to repair the coat and it was not marked«as is.» But no. The woman sized me and the jacket up and seemed to make up a rule on the spot, claiming«we don’t give discounts on things under $ 50» What kind of BS rule is that?! Way to ensure you don’t get repeat customers… Then after that, she tried to rip me off by charging me $ 15 for an item clearly marked $ 10! I don’t think so lady. you and your nasty attitude can keep the jacket. next time maybe you’ll consider that customers have recourse on sites like Unilocal before you treat them like crap.
