Mindy Nails

I’ve been going to Mindy’s since 2007 or 2008 and they continue to deliver. I like that they are always willing to try new products and designs. Most of the other nail salons in the area don’t support creativity the way this shop does.

Ist and last time going to mindy nails, i went their on 12/04/2015.got my nails done use my Credit card, my bank alert my phone like it always does when i use my card. could not look at my phone due getting my nails done. once i got a chance to look at my phone after i left the amount taken was $ 24.00!!! and that is not what i authorize. now i gave him $ 3 tip, now when i call and spoke with mindy all she could say to really a $ 1…thats what made me mad thats stealing if i didn’t authorize you too take it. i dont care if it was 50cents thats stealing she not one time
when i call my bank they said to me it was $ 24 taken out not $ 23 i will not be returning their i wonder how many people they have done this too and have gotten away with it…

It took a pretty long time for the woman to get started on my overlay. I was really happy with the results on the other hand. The problem was a week later I noticed my nails separated from the acrylic which has never happened to me. I won’t be returning

Good service. My nails look great! But the atmosphere could be better. The equipment doesn’t seem to be cleaned too often.

Went to get a gel overlay on my own nails and when I left I had an acrylic overlay that looks like I need a fill in after a 2 hour wait. Which they over charged for.

Yes they do a nice job, but mindy the owner is rude and very sometime it. One day she is all smiles when you come back the next time she doesn’t speak and rude! Crazy huh!!! Mindy gets smart with her customers and talk to them anyway. Smh my family and friends we won’t be back! Been going there for a year at least!

I will never go to Mindys again in life. I went there yesterday at 650 knowing they close at 8 & the door was locked and was shoo’d away by the employee. Very unprofessional. If you’re going to close early atleast go to the door and verbally tel the customer or have a sign up. Sticking with Kim’s from now on.

I love Mindy’s nails, the nail techs are all nice and friendly. The atmosphere is great, the nail techs take their time, to insure that their work is perfection. Not to mention the prices are reasonable, I highly recommend Mindy’s if you’re in the Calumet City, IL Area. Sunday is the best day to go, it’s very quite and you can relax.

They did a really great job. I got a pedicure and a full set. I like my pedicure the best as I am not really into false nails but I thought I needed a change. The ladies were really friendly and wanted to take about the Lastest celebrity gossip. I was tickled by the laughter. Overall this is a friendly place with friendly people. So go get your nails done.

Hello, my fellow Unilocalers. This is my first contribution to Unilocal.First, this salon is great ! I came here three times and every time the service gets better. I am not really into trying new salons because I have been going to the same salon for years, but this one is a great substitute for me. I love their décor, people, and service. They do not rush and they even are great with the eyebrows (I’ve received many compliments)! Their prices are fair, but the best part is they ALWAYS ask what you want and do exactly what you asked them to do. I personally can’t stand when a nail tech starts anything before asking, but this is a great salon and I thought I would just Unilocal about it.
