This was the worst customer service experience I have had in many years. I recently moved to the island and made a purchase less than a month ago at the Ace in Lake Stevens. The Camano Ace refused to take my return because I purchased at a different store although a UPC is just what it is called — Universal. Meaning I should be able to return there. But instead they want me to drive an hour back to the Lake Stevens Ace to get my $ 10 back. If they knew anything about customer service and building rapport they would accept my measly $ 10 to satisfy me and guarantee a return customer. Instead I told my husband we were not buying anything, which we actually stopped to do, and that we would not be shopping there ever again. Now I will go 20 minutes further to True Value to avoid this ridiculous and horrible place. Oh and I rated a one because I can’t rate a ZERO!

This is a great little hardware store with good service. They have a lot for the size. A little secret ask them to price match the big box stores if your looking to save a buck (they told me they do). I personally don’t care because I’m all about small business but a bucks a buck to many.

Great staff and the employees even seem to like to lend you a hand and take stuff out to your car/​truck.
A typical small hardware store, if they don’t have it they’ll try to order it. Prices are good, it’s nice to have something on the island instead of having to drive all the way to Mt. Vernon or Marysville.
