Great little bar in the secluded area of Camarillo Springs. Being the only bar off the exit it’s bound to get busy. As a local I love the convince of this place but I’ve brought many friends from all over the county to this little spot and they all agree it’s a hidden gem. Beer selection is on point. I appreciate that they have a monthly rotation of said beers. For someone who is still learning about«craft beers» this place allows me to try a little bit of everything in a non beer snob environment. Clearly the people that come here love their beer, but everyone is friendly and welcoming it’s perfect. The owner is great, involved in the business, and very friendly. It’s the little things like this that make me want to support a small business. I’ll definitely continue to come back and bring new friends each time :).

Awesome selection of craft brews on draft — 11 at a time — and they are rotated. I walk by this place on my nightly walk, and finally went in, alone, and enjoyed conversing with four other guys who were by themselves, plus the owner. It’s like your own«Cheers» bar in your own neighborhood.

If you love craft beer, look no further. This is a fantastic«off the beaten path» place with 11 different craft beers on tap at all times. The owner, Darryl has great knowledge of the beers served as well as many of the locally brewed beers. He is quite knowledgable about the selections. Take a moment and drop in, you will not be disappointed.

I really want to love this place. They have an excellent rotation of craft brews. My 3-star rating is for Price(for what it is). I just can’t pay a $ 3 or $ 4 premium over other places per pint. I’m not that rich. I know places need to stay in business — I totally get it. And, I know the price for craft beer, but there are other options in town that either have better prices or better atmosphere for the money. The seating area is a bit too small. Not bad, but a bit cramped. This can be a cool hole-in-the-wall vibe for some people, so not necessarily a bad thing. For SELECTION: Can’t beat it. They really do have great selection. Probably the best in a 15 mile radius. If trying new brews is your thing — I highly recommend Darryl’s. Follow them on Instagram to see what’s new. There’s always something new. Don’t take my 3-star rating as a negative review. I like the place, but it’s just overpriced for me and what I like to drink and the experience you get there.

Darryl is a great guy who serves great beer in a little dive. Free pool, sports on TV(every Kings game is shown). Taps are rotated often so there’s always something new to try.

Great beers. Great locale. Staff is the best part– friendly and helpful. They have a relationship with food trucks that come and bring food to you in the bar. Best of both worlds! Tell them«Jo is awesome!»

This is hands down my favorite bar. I know, they only serve beer(and wine), but they serve such an eclectic assortment of beer. The patrons and staff are always friendly. Darryl, the owner, is a die-hard Los Angeles Kings fan, so you can be sure to always be able to watch the game on every single television. There’s also free pool, a water pitcher with cucumber or lemon infused ice water(so you don’t have to feel pressured to buy beer when you need to hydrate), and Darryl keeps it fun with weekly specials and food trucks. And we can’t forget the beloved couch! It’s a borderline dive bar with the best riff raff in town(myself included)!

Fun little neighborhood beer bar, focused and dedicated to American craft beer. Darryl, the owner, is quite knowledgeable on the subject, and his passion for great beer really shows. As the owner of another bar across the county, I’d rather not waste my time on a mediocre rival(Although, we are rather far apart!), but Darryl has got a good thing going on here and I wish him much success. Oh yeah — don’t be shy about stopping in if you’re not a beer expert; you won’t get any attitude from these guys — and you’ll likely learn a thing or two… Cheers!

Random hole in the wall place. But what a gem. Nick and Darryl where extremely nice even recommended other tap house to try. Even admitted that they had to change some kegs due to a busy Friday night. They have a great selection and an awesome set up with th3 Hidden café next door so you can order food to thier bar!!! Looking forward to visiting again!

Awesome hole in the wall craft beer bar in Camarillo! I was only in Camarillo for my wedding weekend and my friends from New Jersey flew in looking for a place to drink some quality craft beer. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and were excited by their website that said they had Firestone Walker’s Double DBA on tap. It turns out that unfortunately, it was taken off tap the night before. We pleaded our case with Darryl, and after begging and telling him how far we traveled, he relented and put the Double DBA back on tap. Putting a beer back on tap is not as easy as it sounds because it’s pretty foamy when it first comes out so it’s kind of wasteful. We really appreciated the gesture and had a good conversation with him. If I lived near here, I would come all the time. Those who do are lucky people!

Thank you Darryl for bringing awesome Craft Beer on Tap to Camarillo! This place is fantastic, the atmosphere and location is good. The proprietor of this fine establishment is a great guy also, knows his beers and his clients. I’ve been to Darryl’s dozens of times, and never had a bad experience, I’m also thankful that a couch is back, just wasn’t the same without it. Please pay Darryl a visit, he’s doing a great thing for Camarillo.

Two pretty girls sitting at the corner of the bar, the Raider’s game is on and the selection of beers and ales and ciders are unique and varied. They change one of the beers on tap daily. «Sweet Caroline» is playing on the jukebox and as if on cue the entire bars sings«Bumm bumm bumm — So Good — So Good — So Good!» — what is not to love! Look this is a small neighborhood bar, with an AMAZING selection of brews and a GREAT — TRULYGREAT — bar staff. As for food — order Pizza or bring your own — we do. The wife LOVES this place.

Phenomenal beer selection! Constantly rotating craft choices on draft. Favorite bar in Ventura County. Excellent place to watch LA Kings games. Staff passionate about beer. Helpful to those who aren’t enormous aficionados. No food served, only downside. Peanuts available. Deliveries, take-ins & occasional food trucks are other options.

I enjoy going to Daryl’s to discover new brews. He keeps a great selection of great craft beers. The only down sides are there is no food nearby and there’s nothing for my wife to drink.

When you walk into a new bar there’s a lot to take in. Especially when it’s such a hole in the wall like this one. Darryl was a great bartender, much better than the norm. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable of the beers we tried, even ones we hadn’t. Not only did you get the taste, but the history. His comments and information even inspired a trip to San Diego among my friends for upcoming adventures. My favorite thing about this bartender, was that he had done his job and actually noticed how much I drank… he warned me between drinks and assured me the experience was the drink, not the drunk. I will definitely be coming back to Darryl’s Couch… and when I do, I’m looking forward to another amazing pint.

F**k Yo! Couch! Cool, out of the way place next to my favorite golf course. Didn’t try any of their signature beers, had a couple Coors Lites in the weird can instead(tasted a little old and skunky). Friendly staff. I’m Rick James B*tch!

I dig this place. They have really great beers and change them out regularly, plus, Darryl is really knowledgeable about the beers. The one thing that would be great is some food but I get it because they don’t have a kitchen. Still, it’s all about the drunk munchies and chips just don’t cut it. Also, they have a really great musician named James Del who plays there regularly and it is a nice atmosphere for having a drink and playing some pool.

Great little hole in the wall… The beer selection is fantastic and always changing and there is always an eye opener on tap. The owner is an all around great guy and you feel like a house guest when you come rather than a patron.
