Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because they gave me a vehicle to drive. The car I picked up from them was extremely dirty. There were toothpicks, used tissues, water bottles, etc. I was unhappy then but then I experienced a huge spider in the car, and I felt unsafe driving it so I turned it in to get a different vehicle. I spoke with Amy both times and she was a little rude and made me feel like a nuisance, and it was difficult to get a hold of anyone in the first place. The 2^nd vehicle was just as dirty as the first one, receipts, trash, bottles, newspapers in the vehicle. Upon the day I had to turn the vehicle in, I requested it to be picked up because I was without a car to drive back. I was told no, there was no way possible to have the vehicle picked up and I needed it there by 6 pm. Isn’t the company’s phrase, «We’ll pick you up»?? I wouldn’t use this company again unfortunately.

Outstanding customer service. The vehicle was great and no mechanical problems. The only items that knocked this review down to only 4 stars instead of a full 5 is that the interior was not thoroughly cleaned and it was issued with only ¼ tank of fuel. There was used tissues and napkins in the pockets and french fries in and under the seats. Minor issues but just under perfect. They were very flexible and accommodating with the pick up, which helped us out tremendously.

District Manager did followup on offers to make things right. I did appreciate his sincere apologies and may consider another of his branches.

I reserved a minivan earlier in the week but upon arrival, I was driven to another location only to be forced into a Tahoe, even though the 2^nd location had a minivan. This would have been nice, except for we really needed a minivan to seat 5 adults (the Tahoe’s backseat is too small for adults, really) plus a wheelchair. It really made our trip less enjoyable due to how difficult it was to load the wheelchair and get our disabled passenger in. In my opinion, it’s kind of ridiculous to substitute this as a «7 seater», or for a Minivan. Another thing that really irked me was that initially the insurance charge was significantly higher than the minivan despite the «free upgrade». When I returned the car, I explained how disappointed I was and they discounted me about $ 150, by not charging fueling, extra insurance, leaving off a day and also waiving the young driver discount. And (after a 5 or 10 minute wait) they dropped me back off at home. So in the end it was OK, but I think this location really needs to have more Minivans stocked so that all this would have been avoided.

Amazing experience with Kyle and Connor at this location! Had my rental for about 2 weeks, and the car was brand new! In such great condition. Kyle’s customer service is absolutely wonderful, same as Connor. Wasn’t very please when dealing with Amy. I got hung up on, never called back, and also said what I had accidentally left in the car wasn’t there. Well guess what, it was. Thanks for all your help Kyle!

Incredible service! Kyle, Amy & the rest of the team went above and beyond to help me out. I arrived at the Camarillo office in a terrible mood, just as they were closing. I had just taken my car to a body shop after being broadsided by another vehicle and I needed a rental for several weeks while my car was being repaired. So late in the day, there weren’t many cars left for me to choose. I waffled back and forth trying to decide which I wanted, picked a car, then ended up changing my mind after they completed the paperwork and handed me the keys. After taking keys to my alternative (and better) choice, I was so paranoid after the accident that I proceeded to take pictures of the entire car before I would sign the paperwork. Throughout the entire process, Amy and Kyle were patient and friendly; I would have wanted to slap me! When it was time to return the rental, I was stuck at work and worried about getting the car back before closing. They were able to coordinate with me to make sure that my rental was returned on time, with no extra charges. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in years. Thank you!

My most recent experience was probably the better ones, I think the young lady who helped me out was new to the location because I had not seen her before she did great I can honestly say I left there with a smile. They have Great customer service and always go the extra mile to satisfy your needs I’ve been renting for the past two months for my weekend trips and they have excellent rates and the vehicles are in great conditions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Top notch service, excellent staff. They are friendly, fast and very accommodating. I’ve rented from them multiple times and have nothing but great things to say. We even ran into massive traffic and we’re a tad late getting the car back and they waived the late fee. Wonderful place to rent a car. I highly recommend them. 5 stars.

We rent cars regularly from this location and without exception, the vehicles are in good shape and the staff are helpful and nice. The only negatives would be that they’re not open on Sunday so we have to pay for the extra day until they reopen on Monday if we’ve rented just for a weekend, and they will NOT open the door until it’s time to, even if it’s cold outside and lots of people are waiting, even if there are staff inside. They could invite us in but they will not. Unlike other rental agencies, don’t expect a full tank when you rent a car, which is annoying to have to get gas before heading out. But we continue to use them and are generally happy with this company.

I use Enterprise rental frequently and am always well-​served. The staff are courteous and thorough and professional. The cars are always in good condition.

i have been using Enterprise for many years, recently they have been the company that helped me reunite with my biological family. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I recommend the Camarillo Office. Always smiling and helpfull

I rented a car over the july 4^th week. the process was easy and quick. i was offered a choice of 2 cars and an suv all for the same price. the car i chose ran perfectly. kept both its cool and us while driving through hot weather.
We ended up stuffing it full of kitchen gear twice during the week and it handled it all very well.
My one drawback, was that i noticed the carpet was getting quite dirty so i was going to pull the floor covers and clean them off, only to discover that the covers had never been installed. i had to return it with very dirty floors.
this was my first experience with enterpruise, it will certainly not be my last.

Customer service is a lost art here sadly.
1. The car company who’s slogan is ‘we’ll pick you up’ couldn’t fulfill that the day we needed a pick up.
2. We get to the car and start the check up to make sure everything is in order and then the woman asks if I want ½ or full insurance. Now it’s been a few years since I rented so I’m not sure if rules have changed– so I ask her for whatever’s the minimum that I need to take. She rudely informs me that it’s not a requirement– really? I wouldn’t have guessed that at all from the way she asked. So if I hadn’t asked what the minimum was and assumed that I had to have insurance because of the way she asked the question– I would have had to pay more for the car than necessary. She abruptly asked for name and deductible of my insurance carrier and made a big deal of telling me how they would go after my insurance carrier if anything happened to that car and that I was financially liable.
Information that I needed to know to be sure but the reprimanding way in which it was delivered made me few like I got scolded by a teacher! Yuck. Not a good start to my Saturday.
The car itself did what it was supposed to. Drove me from point A to point B. No complaints.

Often people go out of their way to post bad reviews, but rarely spend the time to post a good review. I finally got around to post something positive about this enterprise branch after an experience I had with them a few months ago. They really went above and beyond with their customer service. We wanted to rent a car for a camping trip to Big Sur. We needed and SUV and they made sure we got the right car at the right price. The assistant manager Brian was awesome and the staff there is great. I will definitely be back to rent from them again !

My husband and I were here a few days ago. We were very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism the staff, this especially goes for an employee by the name of randy. Right after taking care of us he had an extremely difficult customer, I have never seen such restraint and he kept a smile on his face the whole time. Bravo Randy! The only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the vehicle has a shake at 45 mph, so maybe a little better maintenance on the vehicles is needed.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. When my personal vehicle broke down and we started our search for a new vehicle I needed a rental. They picked me up and got me a car on an hours notice. The car… meh…jetta was cool looking an fun to drive but the AC was a little on the weak side as we were having a very hot week that week… they took me home early morning when I dropped off and did what they said they would without an issue. Thanks!

Very good experience. Randy very helpful. Rented a Chevy Cruze. Relatively new car, only 4000 miles, still had that new car smell. Very clean in nd out. Pick up and return process went quickly, excellent service.

Flew into Camarillo airport. Car was waiting at the airport (FBO) for me, minimal paperwork, and off I went. Left the car there on the way out. No problems. Even got
a call the next day confirming my drop off time.
Car was clean, full gas tank, no problems.
Good pricing.
Could not ask for more.

Excellent service every time! I rent cars from them for business and pleasure, each time a different model, all great cars. Used them for trips as close as Big Bear and San Diego, all the way up to Eureka. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and highly recommend. Their online services as well as their helpful staff always make traveling a breeze.

Had a good experience with Enterprise. My only complaint was that their phones were not working and I had to drive by the place just to make sure they were actually in business. Other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful. I was given a choice of cars in the price range I requested. When the one I wanted had no gas, they gave me an extra 5% off the price and said I could return it empty. I was able to leave my own car parked in the lot for the weekend. I also got a great deal by booking through Costco. I would rent from them again.
