Gabe is a great guy and knows his sh$t. Good scissor technique. From simple to complicated men’s cuts he does it all. All ages I suspect. Thanks Gabe. I’ll be back.

Gabe gives a great haircut, for a great price! You’d have to spend at least 3x the price he charges to get a better cut.

Haircuts $ 13! Gabe is awesome. Very down to earth and makes the hair cutting experience an enjoyable one. He has a good flat screen tv and plenty of space to sit and watch while you wait. He is very old school but that is what I have been looking for in Camarillo. You don’t get quality like this anymore.

If you like going to an old school barber who gives you a great cut, this is the place. Can’t beat the price for the quality cut you get.

Gabe gives good cuts, no question about it. I have had better cuts, but those were pretty expensive. I came here looking for a good looking haircut cut at an affordable price, and that’s exactly what I got.

The cut is great for what it is. I’ve had better haircuts, but they cost $ 60+. No reasonably priced cut looks as good as his cuts do. It’s usually a technically perfect cut, but also a little shorter than you tell him, which isn’t a huge deal. Small shop, one chair in the middle of the room, and there is usually a wait. Most cuts are very fast, but some guys getting fades seem to take forever. Park in back behind the shop.

For $ 12, Gabe gives a very good men’s cut. Almost all of the haircut is done by hand with scissors. This barber shop is located in a tiny building in old town Camarillo between the American Legion and Bone Deep tatoo shop. It is decorated with ancient saddles, old animal heads, and leather chairs. It’s definitely not posh, but has an old school charm reminiscent of Camarillo’s early days. Sitting in one of the squeaky leather chairs, you would not be surprised to see a real cowboy stroll through the doors. The décor is fitting for one of Camarillo’s oldest buildings. Gabe has been cutting hair for thirty years. His cuts are quick and no nonsense. He only uses the buzzer for trimming around the ears and for the back of the neck. I was very impressed with how efficiently he uses his scissors. Most other barbers offering sub $ 20 cuts are overly reliant on buzzers. They are quick, but leave your hair much less even and more frizzy looking. I’ve had lots of more expensive haircuts, and a couple of cheaper ones(which were terrible). When Gabe cuts my hair, it always seems to look better for longer than anywhere else. I haven’t found any other place in California that does a scissors haircut for twelve bucks. Try Gabe’s out, I think you’ll like your haircut.
