I completely agree with Betti. The customer service is fantastic. Nick helped me and a few others in the store. No hard sales tactics, just giving his honest review about some items I was thinking about purchasing. He knew his stuff and offered some suggestions. They even gave me a 10% discount because the store and I have the same name despite the spelling difference. When we left, I told my husband that I think I just met the friendliest salesperson ever. Hooray for Nick at Merrell! 5+++++ stars!

Really disappointing. The staff is not knowledgeable and doesn’t know how to find the right sizes(pretty trivial job requirement for a shoes store worker). For some odd reason they refused to accept the discount from the VIP coupon book which left us with a really bad taste(that was particular to that store — not company policy nor coupon restrictions). Not cool at all! Perhaps that’s why this store is so empty. A big contrast with the other Wolverine/Merrell/Hash Puppies store at the same outlet center, which is friendly and always busy — apparently their attitude attract customers, not surprisingly…

Customer service at Merrell is above and beyond what is normal. I went to the outlet today looking for a size5 in a particular shoe. Samantha helped me and said that she could email the other stores to see if they carried a size 5 since they did not have them in Camarillo. Within 10 minutes after leaving the store, Samantha called me to say that they do have them at another store and could she give them my phone number to call me. Daniel called less than 10 minutes later, was very helpful and we completed the transaction over the phone. He is sending me the shoes today. Wow! So impressive. I will definitely being doing business with Merrell again and will let my friends know what a great experience I had.
