This review is for NutriMost only, not Dr. Aylor and his staff for Chiropractic care. I have a massage client who goes to him and likes him for the chiropractic care. I started the NutriMost program around February 2015. The first week was the hardest and I did feel slight hunger but then it subsided. Week 2 was great. I did lose some weight at this point, but they start your«starting weight» the day after you have done a splurge/calorie load day where you eat a lot of fats and food to make sure you start off with I guess the necessary nutrients before you cut your intake for the program. I didn’t think that was very fair to say that my weight was 2lbs more than it had been at the consult because I ate so much food before starting the program(this is technically part of the program and they tell you you have to do this). Anyway, as the weeks went on and the body analysis came in each week I started becoming increasingly unhappy. I weighed in at every appointment and kept track in my diary of all my food and supplements. I kept losing water in my body and they kept telling me to drink less water and to take more supplements and add certain food items with more minerals in it. I did this. I emailed the doctor often, almost every few days. My body felt weak and I could hardly lift my arm to put on mascara for work. I kept in touch and weighed in at each appointment but it didn’t get better. I think I was losing weight in my muscles and other places I wasn’t supposed to since I was following all the directions. I wrote down my food as directed and used the automated texting service that checks in with you each day to track your daily weigh ins. This is not a malicious review. Dr. Aylor and his staff were VERY kind and friendly. However, I spent A LOT of money on this program and I gained all my weight back. They didn’t seem to know how to fix my lethargy(which didn’t happen until after starting the program) and I tried everything the program called for and that the doctor recommended. I didn’t weigh in on my last week because I had a work conflict and I had become very sad that this wasn’t working for me so decided not to go back the week after. There is a NOREFUND policy. You sign this before you’re allowed to start. I guess I was desperate to lose the weight and thought it would work because of all the videos I watched so I signed it. At my last weigh in I technically had lost 20lbs which is the minimum you’re supposed to lose(however I was 2 pounds heavier at my start weight because I had«load days» where I ate extra food.) that they guarantee in order to make it so you don’t get a refund. During the program I was in contact with them often and like I said, except for the very last appointment, I weighed in as required. I told them I thought my body didn’t run well on the amount of protein that was allowed. I didn’t have any other reason for why I could have felt lethargic and weak. I also had a hard time focusing and had a foggy mind often. I wasn’t very hungry but I also was pretty out of it by week #3. I was super bummed that my metabolism still showed slower than a 90 year old’s on their weekly body analysis of me and that my weight wasn’t coming off anymore/plateauing. I was not happy with how I felt and also the fact that there was no possible way to get a refund. I emailed them a few months later because it was still bothering me that I spent SO much and followed the instructions they gave me. They emailed me back and said I could come in for a weigh in but didn’t offer any real help. Before you decide to do the program, I would caution you. I’m sure the program works for some people, but not everything works for every BODY and if you need a fair amount of protein to function you may want to reconsider. I’m really sad this didn’t work out and that I lost such a huge amount of money. It would be great if they had options for people who had this much trouble on the program. Use caution when you can’t get a refund, I know it’s hard if you’re very overweight to not try everything under the sun! The staff was nice, and it was easy to find. The office was clean. If you are desperate and have extra $ that you don’t mind losing if it doesn’t work out then I guess go ahead and try it.
