Such a hot day and they provided me ice cold ice cream with a great smile. Very friendly service. Will be back when I’m in the area!

What a great variety of amazing flavors. Thank you for holding the Doggie Socail for raising funds for the Camarillo Dog Park. Boots, our 6 year old Aussie Shepherd loved the dog ice cream. We will definitely be back for more.

I went in for a simple ice cream cone however that was not what I got. I order chocolate mousse Icecream and it was the best Icecream I have ever had. It what very creamy and delightful. Then the kind manager came and offered plenty of samples. So we tried the popcorn flavor which was recommended. We thought it would taste bad but it tastes surprisingly good and like popcorn. We would go back anytime we are in Camarillo. If I could I would give it a 7⁄5 stars

Randomly came here and man I was in for a surprise! Best ice cream in Ventura County, all ice cream is custom made! Variety of flavors that changes everyday! Excellent service, ask for Barry or Kyle, they’ll take care of you!

We came in Easter Sunday 20 minutes before they closed and they were still super happy to have us! We ordered the mint with chocolate chips and also a mint/chocolate mousse combo with chocolate chips & shavings. Both were delicious and creamy and better than any ice cream I can find in the grocery stores here! I will definitely be coming back and trying some more flavors and combinations! Oh and also– the medium is big! I got a medium in mine and had to get a lid to take it home and freeze it for later because I was so full of delicious ice cream :) This place is definitely a must!

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever received. I told the owner it was my first time, so I may be indecisive. And instead of shrugging me off, he gave me SIX samples of ice cream! And one of them he even put toppings on so that he could share one of his personal favorites. They also had really cool flavors like carrot cake and popcorn! Also, the owner gave me a coupon to use next time I visit. Which will definitely be soon!

Just had a great experience at Scoops. This was my first time there, and I’m glad I went. Very friendly staff. I believe it was the owner that helped me, and after he heard it was my first time there, had me try a lot of flavors, including a wine sorbet and lemon with graham crackers on top. It was a hard choice but I settled on the butter pecan that I got walnuts mixed in. It hit the spot. Ice cream is yummy. I will definitely be back :)

This place is the worst ice cream place I’ve ever been to. The ice cream is full of artificial flavors, and NONE of the flavors taste like they are supposed to. The other reviews are obviously submitted by family and friends of the owners. The employees were very nice and helpful, but the ice cream was the worst I’ve ever had. I’m hoping this horrible aftertaste leaves my mouth soon.

Delicious! the prefect weapon to battle the hot sun. Extremely inviting staff, they all seem to love their jobs. Lots of different ice creams from chocolate moouse, to Belgium waffle yes waffle ice cream. They also have a sweet corn sometimes and if you top it with caramel it’s just as you’d expect caramel corn… Neat place. Highly reccommend.

Scoops is a great ice cream parlor :) In fact, I think it might — dare I say — be better than Cold Stone’s, which used to be at this location. The workers and the owner is nice, and the ice cream is creamy and not too sweet. Try the exotic flavors like dragon fruit, Belgian waffle, popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate chipotle, etc. Also, the have this deal where you can pick your own cookies and ice cream for an ice cream sandwich for $ 3. Coming soon, there will be a waffle bar, so that should be exciting to try. Go to Scoops if you love ice cream!

Really good ice cream and the two times we’ve been here, the service was really friendly and helpful. And… they have«adult» flavors(alcohol) available too! The Jack Daniels ice cream is a favorite!

Try the Lemon Chiffon Ice Cream mixed in with gramcracker crust & whipped cream! I love that it isn’t too sweet so you keep on wanting more and more!

I love this place! The owner is always there. He is the sweetest man i have met and is really friendly and personable. This place goes outside the box and i tried his corn ice cream… I know sounds weird. But it was actually really good! Love the funky flavors. Definitely will be going again!

Finally! No really, FINALLY!!! It’s about time we get an ice cream shop INVENTURACOUNTY that makes a decent ICECREAMSANDWICH to order. Whoop, WHOOP!!! For a cool treats fiend like me, makes me smile like I just won that Giant stuffed animal at the county fair ;D Its kinda incognito, though. Found deep in Camarillo, it’s hides in the Camarillo Village Square strip mall between Daphne’s and Me-n-Ed’s Pizzeria. Scoops was a Coldstone’s at one point, so their concept is the same. Ice cream is made on site with a selection of traditional and original flavors to indulge in, 22 flavors when I’ve visited. Choose your flavor, then pick yur poisons, er, add-ins to mix in on a cold block ;) I bypassed all this and called ahead for my order… ICECREAMSANDWICH($ 3/sammie, $ 9 for 4 pack): Ya got some choices here! 5 cookie options to decide from. They bake the cookies FRESH here in the morning, except for the biggie Oreos. But what’s REALLY special here, is that they also carry Nutter Butter cookies in biggie size, as an option for sammies! My fave cookie growing up & they’ve got ‘em here!!! Ah, da Memoweez ;) Their ice creams melt pretty fast however, so I’ll call about 2 hours before pickup to have them made, then get them nice & solid in the freezer before indulging in the yumminess! My fave ice creams here are pistachio, butter pecan, and banana with an almond covering over the ice cream. Nutter Butter BLISS… Ahhhh, SOGOOD! The young squires swear this is the best spot for cotton candy ice cream! I’ll take their word for it, that flavor is ALWAYSTOO sweet for me WHEREVER they get it ;) Scoops, I’m glad I found you! We needed a HOMEMADE ice cream shop with all the fixin’s for A LONGTIME ’round here. ABOUTTIME!!! Thanks for making the leap of faith into our neck of the woods &PLEASE keep those Nutter Butter cookies in stock ;)

I was hoping to really enjoy this place. The ice-cream is decent, the prices are scaled a bit higher as a novelty item like Cold Stones was(this place used to be a cold-stones). However, I don’t see a significant difference from their quality or those of cold stones. Came in with expectations of a warm welcome, and some advice on flavors. I’ve always found that the really good ice-cream parlours are those who warmly greet their customers, ask or advise on different flavors, share their most popular items, etc etc. The guys working the shift this particular night were not good at pitching their ice-cream. They stood waiting for us to pick flavors, when asked, told us to read their menu. It was a rather dull experience. Nonetheless, I tried the coffee mocha and yellow birthday cake ice creams.(A medium & small came to $ 11). TL:DR– It’s like your Cold Stones ice-cream from a private owner. Don’t really know the difference between them in terms of taste and texture… but I did learn that they make their ice-cream in house.

I liked it when it was Cold Stone Creamery but really love it now that it has become Scoops Creamery. Fortunately, it has the same owner and the same staff so you still get the same great service. They also mix their creations right in front of you just like before. And all the ingredients they use are still incredibly fresh and delicious. However, they have made some really neat changes. For example, if you are 21 years or older I highly recommend the Cabernet Sorbet — it’s utterly fantastic! I also talked to the owner and he promised some more changes to look forward to. So, I highly recommend Scoops Creamery.

Pros: Friendly service High quality ice cream made in shop Wide variety of signature scoops, creations, and mix-ins Clean Prices/Serving sizes Cons: None that I’m aware of So here’s the scoop on Scoops Creamery(previously Cold Stones Creamery) — the owner wanted to make better quality ice cream with less chemical additives. He therefore changed the business from Cold Stones to Scoops, and I’ve got to say I like the change! The ice cream shop still functions very much like a Cold Stones in terms of the way the ice cream is mixed with add ins of your choice to create signature scoops. Really the biggest difference is that there is a wider and more creative variety of ice cream flavors, and the quality and texture of the ice cream is much improved. There are also«adult» flavors in the back including Cabernet sorbet and Bailey’s Irish Cream. The owner was very friendly and let me sample a few different flavors. The first one I tried was the Chocolate Chipotle, which was AMAZING! It started with a rich chocolate flavor and finished with a bold kick of spice. The second one I tried was the Key Lime ice cream with graham cracker bits on it, which was also quite good — the perfect blend of creamy and tart. The last one I tried was the Coffee Lover’s Dream, which was very smooth with rich coffee flavor. He put a dab of caramel on it and added some Health and Snickers crumbs on top. I could have kept sampling flavors all day, but I needed to get back to my errands so I decided on ordering the Key Lime Pie signature scoop. The fresh whipped topping made in shop was the cherry on top of this creation. The prices are about the same as Cold Stones, but the cups are slightly larger. So for about the same price, you get slightly more as well as a better quality product. I’m really glad I gave this place a try today; next time I’m having an ice cream craving, I will definitely be returning to Scoops Creamery.
