This place doesn’t disappoint at all. When I don’t want to cook because we worked late, I would order from here. I like the fact that the fried food we order isn’t doggy and it’s still crispy and the food tastes fresh and not pre-​made.

Spicy Chicken with Chili and Crispy Shrimp are so delicious. Inexpensive for sichuan food. Large portion. Great customer service. Highly recommended!

The hype is real! Great service, great food at a fair price! My wife & I had the pork with peeking sauce, house special chicken & the sesame inn noodles. Generous portions, good spice level & fresh vegetables. Will be back soon.

Tried this Place last year and have been going back often! My favorite is the BBQ Pork Fried Rice, On my way to pick up our dinner now. Yum!!!

If you’re trying to get your Chinese fix on, don’t skip this restaurant! I followed « Unilocaler’s» advice, the food was great, fresh, and cooked to order! My only complaint was the chicken fried rice. Rice, chicken, soy sauce… Humm, perhaps there is something missing like all the other goodies (egg, veggies, sprouts)? However, don’t follow my negativeness over such petty details. I’ll be returning, as so should you!

Best Orange Chicken I’ve ever had. But the real treat is the great food from the menu of items that you can’t find everywhere. My favorites: Dry Chili Spicy Chicken, Three Delight (pork, winter cabbage, shredded bamboo),
Sichuan Spicy Tofu with Fish.

Great and authentic Chinese food! Love it! Love the fried Chinese chicken with noodles and the hot boiled beef! Will come back for lunch or dinner !

I’ve been here so many times I never look at the menu when I go because I already know what to get.
A good friend of mine lives just down the street so whenever we feel like eating out it’s usually Toppers or here.
They’re in a great location and there’s ample room. We typically sit outside, but when the weather is really nice we sit outside.
Everything here is great. From the fried noodles they put out as an appetizer, to the dishes they suggest when you ask them to recommend something. My favorite dish is the shredded pork in dark peking sauce. It. Is. Life. They top it off with scallions and it makes me a happy camper. Seriously one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Even their rice is on point. Always perfectly cooked.
All my visits have been great. The staff is always on point.

My favorite restaurant is Sheila’s in Camarillo and if I could eat there everyday, I would. This got me thinking, what is the owner of Sheila’s favorite restaurant? So I asked. His quick answer was the Sesame Inn in Newbury Park (the original) and the Sesame Garden in Camarillo (slightly different name, same owners.) The Newbury Park location is a whole in the wall but this place is a step up. For some reason, mentally I always feel like the original is the best… and the same is true here. Still, even at second best, the Garden is a solid 5 star Chinese food spot and it’s quite possible that the slight edge I give the Sesame Inn is complete hog wash.

This is the real Chinese food next to Arcadia, Rowling Heights etc, The trick order off the Chinese menu. The cumin pork is the best i have tasted hands downs. Also the salt and pepper fish fantastic. Great pricing!

Excellent eggplant with tofu and garlic sauce. The tofu was nice and silky yet a bit crisp on the outside. But the garlic sauce took the top prize-​chunks of garlic in a spicy/​sweet light sauce. The eggplant was perfectly cooked. Delish! Service was prompt and very courteous. The restaurant is small, spotless and they had nice crispy noodles on each table to nibble on as you selected your menu items. Clearly the owners want return customers!

Best Chinese food in Camarillo, inexpensive, quick delivery. We eat here at least 4 times a month.

I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant that has a good chow mien like the mandarin house but that delivers and I found it. The food is fresh and delicious and they even put extra veggies in without charging me which is always nice. I love mandarin house but this is my new favorite. I will be ordering on a regular basis for sure.

Really cozy and super clean place with the nicest service. My wife is Chinese and also gives a strong thumbs up (not easy to get out of her between LA and San Fran :)). Highly recommended!

I’ve driven by this location often and with the good reviews I knew I had to give this place a shot. Called in an order for pickup and was on my way.
Experience/​Service 5 star: when I called in my order someone picked up quickly, I placed my order, and was told that it’d be twenty minutes. Arrived after 20, food was ready, greeted by many friendly staff, paid quickly and I was in and out. My order was correct it was everything you’d hope it would be. Also the lunch price is a great deal I would definitely come back again knowing how much you can get here for $ 10.
Food: 3.5 Star. Hence my overall review giving this place a solid three stars, I’d bump them to 3.5 for service if Unilocal allowed.
Anyways, food wise everything was «ok». Everything tasted relatively good but didn’t blow me away. My favorite thing was the simple egg roll, flavorful! Otherwise my rice, soup, and main dish lacked anything that wowed me. The shrimp with lobster sauce had great large shrimps but again rather bland. Seeing that this place gets a solid 4 – 5 stars usually I’m totally willing to come back and try another dish in hopes of finding something better. Great service but again the food was just ok, my expectations were set too high. After reading the reviews I’ll go back and try a more popular dish.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. In my 1,061 experiences that I’ve previously Unilocaled about — none have been as terrible as this. One hour after my order was confirmed online I received a call about the order. Note this was after the delivery time had been scheduled and confirmed. I had received an e-​mail from the restaurant at 7:09pm confirming delivery no later than 8:03 pm. At 8:11 pm I received a call stating they had decided to cancel the delivery because they were short staffed. No apologies and no help. They are rude and don’t care about their customers at all. I said I was going to come in and speak with a manager and 10 minutes later when I arrived, the manager was nowhere to be found. The kid working the front desk said the manager had refused to give us any sort of discount. He offered us 20% but acted like that was a huge favor to us. Once more I was told I was overreacting because «it is just Chinese food». I said I had sick family members at home which is why I was ordering delivery and by this point it was too late to call anywhere else. The kid at the restaurant says to me, «don’t give me your sob story». The manager was still nowhere to be found. Wow, insulting the customer is not the way to go. Once more, when we got the food home it was cold. By far the worst Chinese food I’ve experienced anywhere. Do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere. Honestly, eating a cardboard box will be a better experience. Even more fun — I’m now getting insulting Unilocal messages from the establishment after this review has posted.

Came here for my friend’s birthday. Food came out fast and for camarillo, a town dominant with elderly Caucasians, this is a pretty legitimate Chinese restaurant. No msg advertised and the dishes are well seasoned. Check the photos!
Id say food is a 7.5÷10.
the service is a 9.5÷10.
The environment is ⁸⁄₁₀ (id give a 9 but its a bit small).

In a word… Authentic!
This may be my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Camarillo… okay, maybe not my favorite, but it’s def one of the best sechuan restaurants in town. So spicy, so good!!!

I was exited to hear of a new Chinese restaurant in Camarillo. I love Chinese food and I have eaten at the other location in Newbury Park so I was excited to try this place. I have ordered take out here and the food was prepared in a reasonable time. Food comes out quickly and the food is hot and fresh. The owners are very friendly and nice people. One of the servers has a difficult time speaking and understanding English. She got our order wrong. The order was quickly corrected and the manager even offered a discount.
The food here may be too spicy for some so if you order a spicy dish ask for your level of heat mild/​medium/​hot/​extra hot.
They offer a authentic Chinese menu for those of you willing to venture out and try a new dish.
