A very nice looking chapel from the outside in typical California Spanish style. The inside is a little old and stuffy, but not unlike any other church (in fact, probably as it should be). It has a nice organ that you can’t see, but sounded great. It was a nice place to have a wedding and take photos.

The beautiful chapel associated with was built in the early 1900s with stained glass windows from Germany. It sits atop a hill which dominates old Camarillo. (2532 Ventura Blvd Camarillo, CA 93 010)

As a photographer I can tell you that very little comes close to this in all of Ventura County, if not California for photographing a wedding. Inside and out there is so much to offer and the staff, priest and everyone else is very accommodating.

Ventura, CA
This is the chapel part of St. Mary Magdalen, sitting high on a high part of Camarillo. Always great to see the chapel when I drive on by the 101, no matter what time. Love the old wooden floor, which creaks a bit when someone walks on them. Simple design inside but like most churches I go to, it’s really the parishioners and the priests that make the church wonderful.
