I worked with David for the last few months in order to secure an allocation for a custom built M3 due for European Delivery. David, has been extremely attentive throughout the entire process; sometimes his response is a bit slow but, that’s to be expected as he is an extremely busy person. We did the entire process over email and phone calls, but last week my fiancée and I took the trip and drove up to his dealership without really giving him much time (maybe 3 hours) and met him. He is extremely pleasant and treated us with a lot of respect, he did not look down on us like how other BMW dealer CA would. He spent the time and explained to me how the European Delivery would work, and what our next step is. Although this may not be much, one of the option I was considering was the LED lights but, my fiancée never really paid attention to how the lights look. I asked David to show us the LED while it was raining, he didn’t bat an eyelash and took a key out and waited outside with us in the rain as we compared the LED vs the Xenon HID. I think that’s an example of great service. I’m sure David just won a BMW customer for life. I will return to him for my next car and I will bring my parents to see him when they are ready for their next car too.

I was warned by another BMW owner before going to Steve Thomas BMW not to go because they will «screw me over.»
Of coarse I didn’t listen and I took my 2010 135i anyways. And yes, I got totally screwed over. Be careful with the Maintenance department, they are really shady especially with how they say things that aren’t the truth or a «fabrication» of the truth.
My BMW warranty expired at 50k miles, and of coarse at 52k miles my BMW breaks down, engine light on, and it shuts down after 30 seconds.
I originally towed it to my mechanic who I’ve known for 10 plus years. Owns a shop in Ventura called, «not only imports.» I served in the Marines with the owner and I know he’s trustworthy. He runs the codes on my BMW and determines its the High Pressure Fuel Pump. He offers to order the part for 550 and replace it for another 2 – 3 hundred in labor.
However, he mentions that I should check with the dealer on warranties because it’s odd that this pump broke after only 52k miles. So I call Steve Thomas BMW and discover that BMW extended the warranty on these particular fuel pumps because they seem to break excessively even after only 20−30k miles.
I was told by Steve Thomas BMW to have my car towed to them and they would do the repair under warranty. I felt it was necessary to tell them that I have a few aftermarket modifications on my car including air intake, computer chip, springs, and blow off valve. The technician told me NONE of that would void my warranty.
I paid another 125.00 and had my BMW towed to Steve Thomas BMW dealership.
They Maintence department didn’t have time for my car the first day, and didn’t get to my car until the very end of the second day. Then they call me to inform me that «unfortunately» because of the aftermarket updates they can’t honor the warranty. Then they tell me some crap about how they really shouldn’t even work on my car until the modifications are replaced to original. Finally they quote the high pressure fuel pump job at 2200 dollars! What a freakin joke!
My other TRUSTWORTHY mechanic was going to charge me 550 for the part and 2 – 3 hundred for labor! Steve Thomas BMW wanted to charge me 750 for the part and 850‑1450 for labor!
When I explain my disappointment to them regarding the misinformation about the modifications they basically told me it was because of a modification that was done before I owned the car. Referring to it as a «flash download» or something. Either way it was never something I did to the car.
I asked to have my car back so I could tow it back to my mechanics shop. They said I owed them 140 for a diagnostic fee!!! Are you kidding me? I told them what the problem was before I brought the car to them! They were the ones who wasted two days of my time, and cost me two tows! Then they want to charge me 140 when I explain I can’t afford 2200 dollars!!! These people are crooks and they are heartless. Will NEVER buy a BMW from them and won’t ever take my car their for repairs!
In the end… I got my car fixed, my buddy hooked me up on the price for the part… Only charged me 500 because I got 50 back for the core. And he charged me his cost. Then only charged 250 for the labor. Now My car runs perfect and the engine lights are all turned off… 700 TOTAL not 2200 from Steve Thomas BMW.
Be careful when it comes to Steve Thomas BMW. They are more driven by money than customer satisfaction or by DOING THE RIGHT and HONEST thing.

I bought a Demo X5 no less than one month ago after two days of dealing with Frank Ortiz in person and on the phone. I came from Los Angeles to get this car with my wife and upon the sale of the car, the car was extremely dusty and dirty inside and out. There were scratch marks along the driver side panel and black pigmentation all of the aluminum silver dash which were hard to remove. There were gashes and scratch marks on the interior of the vehicle that upon purchasing was told to me would all be repaired promptly by the service department.
They took car of everything at the end of the day but it took a few calls. Nonetheless, Im happy with the end result.
If they get me a good deal on an M car, i’ll give them a 5 star review.

The service department should get 5 stars, the 2 stars is for the sales process. I wasn’t happy with my salesman. When looking at cars I loved the 4 series but could decide if I wanted to test drive one because I wanted and needed a 4 door car. The salesman literally acted as if I was inconveniencing him when I was trying to decided. He at one point told me I needed to make up my mind before he went and got the keys. I assume that he thought we weren’t serious about purchasing a car. I told my husband that I wanted to leave and didn’t want to buy anything from him but my husband wanted to stay because he we had already drove there. He wasn’t completely rude and he did make conversation
on the test drive and acted friendly. My biggest complaint was that I mentioned several times in wanted a 4 door car and even asked if there was a 4 door, 4 series. I was told there wasn’t, I didn’t find out until after I purchased my car that there is a 4 door 4 series, which makes me extremely upset. This is the car that I want and now am unable to purchase. As far as the rest of the sales process, it was easy and smooth. The guy who helped us with the financing was great. If it wasn’t for the inaccurate information they would get 4 or 5 stars.

Always a friendly and courteous staff and they take good care of our cars. They have a shuttle service and have heard they will give out loaners as well but haven’t had that opportunity yet.

Kwinn and David were attentive, professional and always offered me a very fair price. They made every effort to find me the BMW of my request.
They will find your car no matter where you live in the USA.
I would work them in a heartbeat.
Steve Thomas also has a policy of Sundays off so his staff may attend church with their families.
Fair prices, work ethic and family values. These are the kind of people I desire to work with.

Rick in service is the MAN!!! Helped my and wife and kids through our whole warranty process no thanks to Shelly BMW. The staff are great, so great my wife and I made them 22 home made breakfast burritos and personally brought them to the guys in the shop. I’ve never bought a car here, but if the salesman are anything like Rick in service, our next purchase will be here for sure. Thank you again Rick for going the extra mile on multiple occasions, and taking care of my family. Let Mr Thomas know next time he needs an electrician he knows who to call:)!!

Bought my bmw m3 here a few weeks ago, what an amazing car. The process was fast and smooth glad I came here!

This is the best dealership of any car manufacturer I’ve been to. First of all every time I come in I am greeted by a friendly and helpful face. Everyone is always trying to go above and beyond to help you get what you need.
But the gem of this place has to be Kwinn Knight. Straight shooter, no bs. He doesn’t do the whole song and dance that most dealers do. Highly recommend doing business with this guy.

First and foremost, I would like to thank the saleslady, Ameena, for being so patient with me throughout the entire process. I live two hours away from the dealership, so I called her soooo many times prior to the day I came in and asked her numerous questions about the car. I wanted to make sure it’d worth the drive there.
The entire experience was so pleasant and FUN. They have a non-​corporate feel (it’s family owned!) and it is nothing I expected from any dealership. Everyone is genuinely friendly and professional, and made every effort to work with me.
A week or so after I took delivery of the car, I had a few questions regarding the warranty and roadside assistance. I called Ameena & Jim (from finance), and they quickly got back to me with the answers. Their pre-​sales and post-​sales customer service are top notch!
When it’s time to upgrade this baby 3 Series to a big boy 5 or 6 Series, you can bet I’ll make that drive to Steve Thomas again!

My husband and I had a great experience today. We saw Kwinn who was wonderful. He was nice and totally worked with us to get our dream car and everything finalized without a hitch. Our baby who’s 5 months even loved it there ! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and good to the baby too. I would definitely recommend them.

Purchased a BMW from Sean at Steve Thomas BMW. The purchase went without a hitch, easy to work with and extremely friendly. A month after the purchase, I noticed a small crack on the windshield. I emailed Sean with images and asked if he could do anything about it. No response, ok maybe he didn’t check his email. So I text him asking if he received my email. Again no response.
These people will treat you very well when purchasing a car from them. But if you have a problem afterwards, they’ll do the best they can to ignore you. It’s funny how they would respond to the positive feedback on Unilocal and completely neglect the negative ones. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?
I’ll never buy another vehicle from them. It shows they only care about selling cars and the customer service that comes afterwards is nonexistent.

After you purchase a car, the service is the next step in evaluating a dealership. With Steve Thomas BMW, you are treated like a King. We brought our vehicle in for service this morning, all service writers were well organized with their desks and ready to help. Always a pleasant smile and welcome and the vehicle was finished the same day and the time they said it would be. No surprises or waiting. And the car was washed! thank You Steve Thomas BMW!

They sold me a lemon cpo and car, which is leak gas 2 times so far, and cpo manager told me I had to fucking leave. But they are really good at letting people trust them the car is worry free, and those 5 stars party much they found them to raise the stars, because they paid $ 255 each month, Unilocal was helping them take down all the one start reviews witch the people really had experienced with this fraud business, so be careful guys

We’ve leased 3 cars from Steve Thomas BMW. Each were great experiences. The staff was friendly. The orders went in perfectly. The delivery was painless each time. Naturally, we thought to go back here for the next car.
Unfortunately, this next vehicle is not going to be from this dealership. Multiple Voicemails were not returned. Emails were not returned.
We gave them the benefit of the doubt because hey, let’s face it, things get busy. So, we reached out again. This time we got a person. Told them we were interested to know if there were some pull ahead programs. We were told no, but they will keep us uninformed since they know we are interested. Turns out there has been a pull ahead program that began in January.
The perception here is the sales staff at Steve Thomas BMW are too busy for their return customers.
To the owners of Steve Thomas BMW, please work with your staff to change this experience for future customers. Your brand has been damaged by this experience.

Didn’t actually buy a car from here, but they were awesome when dealing with them.
I wasn’t a local buyer, but the sales staff was very willing to negotiate on a pre owned car over the phone. We eventually worked out a price that would work for both of us, but I couldn’t make it there before the car sold. (Not their fault at all)
The whole time I didn’t feel pressured and felt that these guys genuinely wanted to help get me a car. I thank them for their time and maybe we can do business in the future.

I recently started leasing a 428i gran coupe from Steve Thomas BMW and I absolutely love it! When I went to the dealership initially, Frank Ortiz (the sales rep) recommended several different cars based off of criteria I told him I was looking for. He explained all of the different options and features, which was great for me since I’m somewhat of a car novice! I got to test drive two different models of the 428i, and Frank did an awesome job of «coaching» me through the entire test drive (trying out the nav system, eco vs. sport modes, etc.).
When I went back two weeks later to pick up the car, Frank helped me get everything set up in my new car (my Bluetooth, the adjusted seat and mirrors, etc.) and the paperwork process was very transparent and easy! Everyone at the dealership was incredibly nice and professional, and the whole experience felt very upscale. I was treated like a VIP from start to finish. Very rarely do I write a review but these guys deserve it. The dealership is very clean, super friendly, no pressure sales or haggling, willing to show you around and answer all your questions and make you feel at home. Did I end up buying a car, absolutely, and my client advisor Frank Ortiz was absolutely fantastic. This guy is really very friendly. There’s a reviewer that had a different experience but my experience has been nothing but fantastic and I’ve been bugging Frank for months! Call after call and he’s still friendlier than ever, gets the job done, has the answers I need and is more than willing to go out of his way to work with his customers.
I am now the proud owner of a new BMW i3 and Frank Ortiz and Steve Thomas BMW made this a very enjoyable experience. Jim from finance was an absolute pleasure to deal with as well. This is a family run dealership and the attention to detail and customers shows. I’m enjoying the i3 with no visits to the gas pump.
I had my i3 built to spec and ordered and then had a change of heart on when I’ll get the car so asked Frank to see if there’s anything I can get in a shorter period. Frank tracked down an i3 with very similar spec that was still on its way to the states, got my name on it and I had the car less than 10 days later. You guys rock!
