Well. Let me just say. That I was pretty nervous at first. I have gotten my hair cut at many different places. By many different people. I have never been 100% satisfied… I did some digging through Unilocal and came across her personal shop page. I took a chance. And I absolutely LOVE my hair. My hair was extremely damaged, thinning, and had no texture. I have naturally wavy\curly hair which can be tricky so I gave her an example of how I wanted my hair to be cut. So I showed her a picture. And she customized it to my specific hair type and condition. I was blown away… She is absolutely amazing, great price, and close to home! No more going to To Santa Barbra for a hair cut I barely like and spending 3 digits for it… She has a great personality and will not tell you what you want to hear. but what you NEED to know as she is consulting you which was very appreciated. She is very knowledgeable. I went from medium length hair to shoulder length… And so glad I did… Her craft is on point… Point blank… I highly recommend Veronica. Thank you!

Veronica is the bomb! She is a natural and worth every penny. I also go the wax lady at this salon, she is sooooo good. Try her before or after your cut.

Truth be told, I’ve been looking for the holy grail of stylists FOR DECADES and the clouds parted and brought VERONICA into my life! I’ve been going to her for 3 years now and there’s nothing to say but that’s she’s simply the best. Sexy cuts, gorgeous «natural» color, and her professionalism, and speed makes it worth every penny. Seriously, a full weave, shampoo, cut, blow dry in two hours, common! She and her whole staff are true artists.
In the past, getting my hair done used to be this terrifying experience when it looked like Edward Scissorhands hacked my hair or I walked out as a Lady Gaga’s Monster Tour Stand In. Remember Gaga’s connary yello? Yeah., Not Cute! And as a blonde that’s the ultimate faux pas.
I can write for days about my horrible hair debauchals but those memories have drifted into past now that she’s in charge. No one touches my hair except Veronica no one not even my boyfriend ;-)
I am so happy for her that she just opened her own salon and she has everything you would ever need: nails, brows, makeup. Don’t bother going anywhere else! There’s really no point! Cheers :-)

I have always been scared to do much with my hair I have not touched it in ten years maybe except for trimming it and the same long black hair. Going for the morticia Addams look… Anyways I searched for weeks for someone in the area that worked well with dark hair when I came upon Veronica. I went last night and changed it up. My husband and I both love it. I colored my virgin super dark ebony hair and it did not fry or damage and looks great and well done. Thanks Veronica for helping me lose my fear of change and taking s chance on something different.

Let’s begin with my background on my hair: I had been growing it out as long as I possibly could but was in search of a hairstylist because I’ve never really had one since I usually get my hair cut by a student at a beauty school or get the razor comb myself and hack away lol
But I think it’s about time I got a professional cut and I’m in need of changing up my look with balayage highlights. I need those lights my life lol
Thankfully, my coworker recommended me to her hairstylist and lo and behold, her name was Veronica and she has her OWN Unilocal PAGE! You know a hairstylist is DOIN’ IT when you can literally Unilocal her and her reviews are phenomenal lol
Anyways, she had an opening when she’s usually booked weeks out in advance and I snagged it! I came to see her on a Friday afternoon and she is very sweet, funny and friendly. It’s helpful to bring photos to show her what you want and she can explain the styles as well as recommend what she thinks would work for you.
About 2 hours later, I had ~4 inches chopped off with balayage highlights and toner treatment added. We had a pretty good conversation about our lives and she also introduced to me high end shampoo and conditioner products. I got the travel kit of the Enjoy products for $ 15 and LOVE it. I’m only using Enjoy shampoo and conditioner now and I can’t go back to anything else. It’s really THAT good for my hair.
I highly recommend Veronica. She has an Instagram too if you want to see her work. It’s been exactly a month now since I got my new hairstyle and the cut is looking naturally great and my balayage highlights are on point. Thank you! :D

One of the greatest ! Or I would say she’s the greatest !!! I had my haircut yesterday and not only she was very professional but at the same time very friendly and accommodating. She took time to explain to me and showed me the how to’s after my haircut. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and everybody! With Veronica you are in great hands! I have thick curly and sometimes unruly hair. Veronica knew exactly how to manage it. She explained what she was going to do and which products she was using. Great haircut! Will be back!

Veronica fixed my bad haircut. I came to her based on the reviews here on Unilocal and she did an awesome job. I was so horrified with my hair disaster and my regular hair person was on vacation. So I didn’t know who would be able to make my hair look good again ASAP. She was able to see me quickly and I’m so happy I called her.

Only person I trust to do anything to my hair! Took me a good five years to find the right person. I just give her an idea of what I would like to do and let her run with it! And she has not disappointed me once. She gets it. Highly recommend her to anyone!!!

I’ve been to all types of hair stylists… from cosmotology students to fancy high-​end Santa Barbara stylists, and every time I got my hair cut I would always say to myself, «Im never getting a haircut again!» Until I found Veronica! Veronica gave me the best haircut of my life. Even my boyfriend loved it; he demanded to know who did it and told me to never go to anyone else for my hair ever again haha. Veronica is very knowledgeable, professional, and talented, not to mention she has a wonderful personality. I used to hate getting my hair done, but now I’m really looking forward to going back to her!

I’ve been going to Veronica to have my hair cut and styled for over 3 years now. She’s the first stylist that seems to understand my hair. I have a soft curl and waves and if not cut properly it can be difficult to manage. She always takes into consideration my hair type and gives me a cut that is best for me and my curls as opposed to just trying to match the picture or style that I want. She’s wonderful. I always leave with a smile on my face and I have not been disappointed once.

I found Veronica on Unilocal and loved all the pics she has! It made me feel very confident about her skills and I was not disappointed! Veronica listens to you, makes suggestions based on your unique face shape, skin tone, hair type and even daily routine. She gave me amazing burgundy all over color and highlights that made me pop, but still looked like me! On top of that she is incredibly friendly and you instantly feel like you’ve always known each other. She knows what she’s doing and she’s amazing at it! You won’t be sorry!

I have been going to Veronica for years now and I cant picture myself ever going to anyone else! She is seriously the best it gets. I used to dread getting my hair cut… had nightmares about it actually from years of bad experiences with stylists who didn’t know how to deal with my unruly thick frizzy hair but she gets it. Not only is she amazing with cuts but for anyone like myself that loves to color their hair i highly recommend Veronica. She really has a talent of listening to what you want and giving you exactly that she does such a amazing job every time i go in that i cant wait to show off my new look as soon as i leave the salon.

I moved to the area looking to find a new hair stylist– and coming from someone that did my hair for 6 years, I didnt just trust anybody with my hair. I was a little bit hesitant with having someone else touch my hair, but I was open to the idea– since I was referred to Veronica by a friend who had awesome hair.
I first went it for a consultation and to meet Veronica. The great thing about her is that she is very knowledgable, but at the same time actually listens to what you want and gives respectable feedback. She would tell you if it could be done or if it will damage your hair.
I then went in for my actually appointment– I was told that what I want done may take a few tries but she said she’d be able to TRY her best and get the color I want. My situation was an ombré look from DARk, dark hair. I actually had to see her for a second time where she toned down the color and made it more warm and not to of an orange color.
I am excited to see her for my next appointment where we will be lightening my tips to make it more of the color I originally wanted. Hair is a process, but Veronica is very patient and honest with her clients– that’s nice about her!

Veronica cut my hair about a week ago and I was very pleased with the way it turned out. She is very professional and I would highly recommend her!

I love Veronica! She is up on the trends and knows the celebrity hairstyles. I told her i wanted a Kourtney Kardashian hairstyle, but blonde & that it what i got! She makes me feel so comfortable and makes sure i get everything i need (water, magazines. etc). She also gives the best head massages while washing your hair :) Definitely 5 stars for Veronica.

She gets it, the hair color the cut the look. She’s wonderful very understanding of cancelations friendly you feel like you’ve known her for years. If you go to the Boulevard salon go to Veronica she does a wonderful job.
