Hidden gardens does not guarantee their plants… don’t shop there. I won’t anymore!

I have been here a couple times. Some of the prices are decent because they are having a «going out of business sale.» 90% of the stuff is over priced though.

Hidden Gardens is one of a handfull of retail nurseries specializing in plant material for Asian gardens. They are strong in magnolias, Japanese maples and have a selection of red pines, blue spruces and poodled scotch pines. They are also good for camelias. They do major landscaping, so they have some specimens with a lot of character in the back area that would probably require a crane. So plant now, and in about 30 years, you will have the same. They have statuary and the like, maybe skewed more Chinese than Japanese. They also have seasonal sales. The staff I’ve worked with has been solid and customer oriented. Building a Chinese or Japanese themed garden? This is a spot to check for shrubs and trees.

John has been doing landscaping for over 20 something years and is so knowledgeable! He is more than willing to help with any yard, and even offers to draw up a suggested landscaping plan for your specific yard for free! Staff at Hidden Gardens is always friendly and willing to help people like me who just wander aimlessly around the grounds looking overwhelmed and confused.
