This is our second time at kop chai. The first time we were there we had great food and service. Tonight we still had good food. It wasnt as spicy as i liked but still good. Service was a little slow tonight. but overall i still enjoyed my dinner!

Food is good and a lot better than what you would expect for Camas. The prices are very fair! We tried this place because it was one of few places open on a sleepy Sunday afternoon. The service was fast and the woman working was very polite. What I didn’t enjoy was how there was no music playing and you could hear each others’ conversations from table to table. They could really use some music or at least a TV in here or else it’s extremely uncomfortable to have a conversation when there are only 3 parties inside.

Went to Kop Chai Thai because Camas Thai was closed and was very disappointed. Service was not great. My Pad Thai came out with a pile of dried red pepper flakes… I like spicy food but have never seen a restaurant spice up food this way. Food was ok(which is why I gave a 2 star instead of a 1 star) but I would not go back.

We usually come here whenever we are craving Thai food. They have papaya salad served Laos style and we always get this as our appetizer. The lady there is so sweet. Despite that, the food last time was just okay. We ordered the lemon grass grilled chicken which was just okay and my husband ordered the pad Thai which is was good. We have ordered all their curries before and compared to what we have ate before, the curries are just okay. We’re newer to this area so we hope to find a place that will wow us every time.

Wonderful little Thai place in downtown Camas. Ordered the broccoli with peanut sauce and pad Thai and both were great

If I could give this diamond in the ruff 6 stars, I would! I think about the food here all the time. A few of us go once a week for lunch because its that good. The«usual» which they know by now and get it started as soon as we sit down is: Salad rolls, Tom Yum(which is the best that I have EVER tasted) and someone always gets Pra Ram, Yellow Curry or Pad Sie iew. People. go here, you won’t be disappointed. *They are always busy, so be prepaired for a bit of a wait before and or after once you have your bill.

Average Food, Decent service, actual ambiance of place, not very good. Only one visit, and man I love thai food. If I’m in town again, I wont’ be going here. Not bad, but not worth the money and the place was not very inviting or comfortable.

This place is a delicious little spot. I got the Red curry and had Pineapples added. It was super tasty. the salad rolls are a perfect healthy appatizer and the service is great!

Had the Tom ka soup, pad Thai chicken and the Larb Kai medium spicy. It was very good especially the Larb Kai. If you don’t like spicy, order the mild option. Medium was pretty spicy which was just great for me but my wife isn’t a fan.

Have gone here often for many many years. Not impressed with sum yun sen, Not sure I’m spelling it right. The lady that’s been there is very sweet she has been for years I’m just not the greatest fan of the actual food. When you try Thai Orchid in Vancouver it blows everybody away!

Love this place! Used to come in for lunch all the time. Really good Thai food, especially being in Downtown camas. If your around and looking for good Asian food, I would recommend this place! Because it’s local too, it’s usually always pretty quite and low key. The Pad Thai is good, also try the Pad Garlic.

Our favorite Thai restaurant! Great curry, friendly good service. Everything we’ve had here is good. They can make gluten free, have brown rice, and organic tofu.

The food is good but the service is better. Have always loved visiting this restaurant. It’s a great place to dine in Camas, usually for lunch. Gets pretty busy and is a small space, but it always seems to work out well!

Best Thai around! I would not go to any other place! Great service and super nice environment. Definitely a casual setting but the best quality of food and tons of different choices! So if you are feeling in the mood for some Thai cuisine look no further than this place! Hands down you will love and I am not a frequent costumer.

Not wanting to judge a restaurant by a singular visit, I gave Kop Thai several chances. Time 1, I get the wrong order. Time 2, I get hung up on in the middle of placing a to-go order so I received half of what I intended. Time 3, the wontons in my soup had literally fallen apart — I couldn’t even tell they were in there. When I approached them about these issues I was laughed at, told I was wrong, and then given silence. Very condescending and unprofessional. There are far better places for quality and service in Camas.

Love this food and the family who own it! All the food is fresh daily and presented wonderfully before your eyes. Definitely try the Tom Ka soup and the green curry— you won’t be disappointed :) also, if you have been disappointed with spice, remember to ask for extra… The cooks make it less spicy to accommodate taste buds of those who may not be used to the amount of spice traditional Thai food is made with. They have a 4 star rating: 1-mild, 2-medium, 3-hot, 4-extra hot…

I love Kop Chai! My family and I have eaten here for years, wonderful owners with great customer service! We always order Pra Ram and Panang w/egg rolls(which are more like spring rolls in my opinion).

We have been trying to decide if we like this or Camas Thai better, and I think we have finally came to the conclusion that we choose Kop Chai. We are not sure 100% why, but there are some things that we notice when going back and forth. I can’t even think of what they are right now, but we just love this place! The yellow curry is a new favorite, and we have been trying to get something new every time, and they never disappoint!

I’ve eaten here once before with a friend that introduced me to this restaurant. I had white wine, Crab Puffs & Yellow Curry. This particular visit was fantastic. The service from Victoria was great. The food was very tasty and well done. Fast-forward 4 months later. My friend and I went in 2 days ago. The restaurant had 2 other patrons, and just my friend and I. We sat down at a booth & the server(male owner) gave us menu’s, then completely ignored us for 6 minutes. 3 people came in whom was obviously friends of the owner. He sat them down, promptly gave them water, menu’s the whole thing. My friend and i were sitting for another 5 minutes… just waiting. No water, no check-back. After 15 minutes without another word from the server the other owner Victoria came out of the back chomping on some food she was eating and greeted the new arrivals and again, completely ignored my table. We decided to get up and before we left, i expressed we had been waiting for 15 minutes for service, and we had been there before the friends came in. She didn’t even look up to apologize at all. She said«Ya, that’s fine» and continued conversing with her friends. I suggest being friends with the owners to get any type of service. Otherwise, you won’t be acknowledged passed having menu’s thrown on the table.
