I just went to this salon yesterday to get my brows waxed. I am so sad to say that I thought I was having a good experience but when I got home and my skin wasn’t irritated anymore i noticed that my left eyebrow was waxed way too much in the middle. Now when I look in the mirror I want to cry. People I know say they can’t tell but it’s my eyebrows and a whole chunk of it is gone now and its obviously uneven from the right one. This is the worst experience I have ever had with waxing and I won’t be coming here again. :(

I am new to the area and was nervous about finding a new stylist. I made an appointment with Jayden and was very pleasantly surprised. I have short hair so it’s not really an easy haircut but she took her time and listened to me and did a perfect haircut. I am so excited that I don’t have to look any further for a new stylist. And bonus it’s very close to home.

I moved to the Vancouver area 2 yrs ago so was in the need of a new hair salon. This was the 3rd salon I tried after having not so good haircuts at other salons. I went to Sorelle salon a totally of 4 times and only had one stylist that gave me a great color and cut. I went to other stylist because I have no patience waiting for appointments and took the first available with another stylist. Needless to say, I had the worst highlights ever and went home and called the next day saying how unhappy I was. My dark roots were already sticking out 1 – 2 inches and the color was completely uneven all over my head. So they said that I could come in and get my issues fixed. So I scheduled another apt to only go sit in a chair for another 3 hrs to have my hair completely destroyed. I wish I remembered the girls name, but she put highlights all through my hair again so she could get closer to my roots. This caused my hair to have excessive breakage all over my head. I’m lucky I have thick hair since I’d hate to think of what it would look like with already thin hair. I’ve tried many expensive hair masks and other products to help tame my damaged hair and have not had any success. I’ve never had my hair so destroyed before and will never go to this salon again.

I received a gift certificate from my son for Christmas and was saving it for a special occasion. I was going to get a Mani-Pedi and at the last minute decided to get a facial instead. I have had facials at other places around town(Beyond Bliss in Vancouver, Celebrity Spa Services in Sifton, Main Street Spa in Vancouver,) and this was far and above the best facial I have had. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for another«special occasion» so I can go again!

I had a Groupon for a pedicure and will never do that again. It was overpriced even for a groupon. It is so not worth the money. Galaxy Nails is sooooo much better and it’s cheaper. Sorelle has hard benches not the comfy massage chairs. The gal that did it was nice but I will never go there again. The nail Polish is already chipping and it looks like crap. Save your money ladies

On a sinus headache day Hillary transformed me from an achy zombie to a relax person. I would recommend the cold stone sinus treatment and massage.

Almost a 5 star! I’m just very stingy and it takes ALOT to get one from me. This was only my first visit and my only complaint was it took a few phone calls to get a side by side appointment. Granted it was just after the Groupon was released and they were a bit busier than normal. With that said, it was an amazing experience once we were there! I wish I had thought to get the names of the two ladies that helped us but they know who they are! The gamer and the hunter =) My mom and I had a great time and they did a wonderful job on our mani/pedis. I will definitely be going again, just wish it was on my side of town!

This is the worst place EVER!!! I called to make an appointment to get my nails done for my birthday and they were apparently jam packed. There was only one spot open so of course I took it. I got to my appointment on time and wasn’t actually seen until 15 minutes later. In my opinion there’s a reason why you make appointments. When I finally got to my appointment the girl who was doing my nails rushed through the process. My «light massage» was only a bit of lotion rubbed on my hands, basically for me to rub in the rest of the time and the same thing goes for my pedicure. A few hrs later the paint on my nails and toes started chipping. I had to go back but they couldn’t even get it fixed because they were so jam packed. I needed my nails done that day because my event was that evening. I eventually fixed it myself, and they wouldn’t give me a refund. I had to take my nail polish off TWODAYSLATER because it looked so awful. I will never return to this place and waste my money and I suggest to others that they do the same. If you are looking for a good place that actually takes their time and the paint doesn’t chip off a couple hours later I would suggest Nail Envy off 15th and 164th in Vancouver. So much better there and it won’t be a waste of money.

The benches are so uncomfortable to sit on for a pedicure. The pedicures are also quite overpriced for nothing you couldn’t get for less somewhere else. Give me my oversized massage chair … not a hard bench! :) I wouldn’t return unless I had another gift certificate.

This was an all-around bad experience. The staff was professional when speaking directly to customers, but unbelievably unprofessional while hanging out behind the counter… in full-view of the customers. I was there for a massage. My massage therapist was running late. There were 2 places to sit and wait… a high stool wedged between the reception counter and makeup or a low square stool between rows of product. Neither a desirable location to wait for any extended amount of time. The massage room was typical and as I changed, I noticed the«mood» music was pretty loud. About 10 min. into the massage, I realized why. The pedicure stations are right outside the door to the massage room. Throughout the entire massage, I had the displeasure of listening to employees & customers cackle and gossip right outside the door. That is NOT relaxing. The massage therapist ended the massage on-time(per our appt.) despite starting it 10min. late. The therapist said she would meet me outside the door after the massage, but… surprise… she was no where to be found. I have frequented Aveda salons in the past and this was not reflective of those experiences. I would not recommend this as a destination for a massage.

After having many bad experiences at other salons, I found Sorelle by chance, THANKGOD! Hayley the stylist I saw was nothing less than AMAZING, she fixed my hair and was just wonderful. =) The only down side no comfortable place to sit while you wait =(

I was a walk in(well, I called a few days before) and I was very happy here. I’ve never had a «place or person» I go to regularly but I think I may have found my people and my place. I was supposed to go to somebody on a Saturday but she ended up in the Urgent Care and the owner called me early to cancel, which actually was nice because then I didn’t have to get up! We rescheduled for the next day with Shelby and she was GREAT! I’m a pretty low maintance hair person. I don’t dye my hair, I part it down the middle and straighten it every day. Nothing fancy but I still felt like a valued customer. Lots of time people want me to try to dying my hair — especially since it is «virgin» hair and will push and push me but all I had to say when she asked was«I don’t want to dye my hair» and she never brought it up again, and I appreciate that! I will definitely be coming back and that is saying A LOT because I’ve never ever gone to the same place twice.

Very cool place! The staff is super friendly and there is no drama here. I drive 3 hours to come here and get my hair highlighted and cut by Richelle. I’ve been a fan of hers since we met in Seattle and I will not go to anyone else. They have other services here as well. Massages, nails, waxing, facials, etc. Men are also accomodated. I highly recommend this place and Richelle to all who are looking for a nice and great experience. After, go next door and grab a drink and food at Roots and flaunt your new look or just enjoy an almost awesome experience as you would from this salon.

I wanted to splurge on myself by getting a facial, massage, manicure and pedicure. However, as I walked in I felt I was being judged as if I could really afford to get these services. Their customer service is poor and they sure lost out, because I decided to go elsewhere
