Came in here today with my mother, brother, and nephew. My dad loves football so I really wanted to get him something. No greeting from the counter person. We were looking at everything. There was a beer ice bucket hanging from the ceiling. I said out loud that I wanted it. My mom even joked to me that if I wanted it I would have to be able to reach it. I looked over at the store clerk he was on his computer not even looking at us. We weren’t worth his time so I didn’t give him my money.

Have to agree with a previous review about the lack of customer service at the store. The guy behind the counter acts as if you are an inconvenience. He doesn’t greet you nor ask if you need help. We ended up paying 5 dollars for an antenna ball which is only worth 3 bucks or less. The lackluster attitude on service makes you want to run out the door!

Most of the stuff in here is overpriced junk that you can find for cheaper online or at the local mall. What is cool is that nostalgic sports fans who want to re-live the baseball card collecting days of the 80s and 90s can find old wax packs as cheap as 50 cents each. For a couple bucks you can enjoy a nice trip down memory lane.

Returning to this store with my fiancé who is a super baseball fan and him knowing the story about my first visit, I was hoping to have a different experience. Yet again we were not greeted nor asked if we needed help. Very disappointing and as an avid local business supporter it is sad to see the lack of care they show their hopeful customers.

A tiny store with sports memorabilia run amuck, and a very laid back owner. You can find fun gifts for your guy who can’t get enough of(.insert favorite sports team here.). Mugs, hats and shirts, bobbleheads, pennants, signs, pins, baby bibs, piggy banks, balls, even xmas ornaments. All featuring your choice of sports logos and celebrities. Stacked snuggly and high to the ceiling. No doubt, the mark up is unreasonable, but we did pick up a few things to please our Angel’s fan son-in-law and our grandbaby.

Great Sports Momento Store I was away for a nice weekend in Carmel/Monterey and than onto Hearst Castle. My girlfriend and I wandered into Cambria and checked out all the local shops and restaurants. We stumbled upon Safe at Home which is the best sports momento store you can find. Every type of item you could want with your favorite team on it(I got some Mets coasters). They even have un-opened baseball card packs and Garbage Pail Kids! Yes my girlfriend bought me two packs as part of my Birthday weekend away, haha… Unfortunately they don’t have a website, but guys if you find yourself in Cambria you gotta check out this store.
