Honey with rosemary cream cheese and the eggspanola are great!!! The bagels are super fresh but make sure you go early since they run out quickly on weekends.

Another perfect visit to Bagelsaurus. Yes, the line was long. No, there weren’t any available tables to sit at. But still, the bagels are beyond worth it. Already looking forward to going back.

What is it about bagels that makes people go apesh*t? We love ‘em — schmeared, slathered, smothered. Take a deliciously chewy cinnamon raisin and partner it up with a smokey veggie cream cheese. It shouldn’t work but alas, it does! I took it upon myself to have the pumpernickel T. Rex — almond butter, bananas, bacon and a generous amount of honey. Was it the messiest thing I’ve eaten in recent memory? Yes. Yes it was. However, it was the tastiest thing in recent memory too. While I was mopping up gooey almond butter from my chin and looking like an absolute monster, I was in hog heaven. He had the jumbo on a plain bagel — mustard butter = genius. Their coffee was robust and delicious, no extra charge for soy milk! I will say that on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am — 10am, they offer a «grab bag» line on the left side of the counter. If you just want a bunch of bagels and cream cheese, no sandwiches, you can skip the line for express service. Don’t be a jerk and go over there for just one or two bagels. Don’t be that guy.

Despite a long line when we walked in, it moved fast and the bagels were fresh and delicious. Tables turned over quickly. The cinnamon raisin bagel was perfectly made, and the rosemary honey cream cheese so unique. Worth weathering the line.

Get the Hot Smoked Salmon! A bit steep but worth every bite. Got it on an olive bagel and it was the best decision ever. The Eggspanola was good as well but the salmon takes the cake. Place is small with only a couple tables along the wall, so either take out or wait a bit to snag a table. Don’t plan on staying long, as people are usually waiting for a seat.

Everything about this place is awesome. Food and staff. Okay maybe the line can get a little intense… They must have an absurd number of people come through, and they still bother to learn your name! Recommendations include their«basic» breakfast sandwich with mustard butter, and their salmon option, and the chicken salad… And the t-Rex… Okay, I guess you really can’t go wrong is what I’m saying!

Delicious and dangerous for the taste buds because every bite is an explosion! I am a breakfast person all the way, this is now my to go-to place for fresh bagels and coffee. I had the T REX sandwich which is bacon, honey, home made almond butter and banana! I think it pairs best with the wheat bagel. I am a health and work out junkie so this fuels me with the energy I need to start my day off right. Job well done Bagelsaurus

Filling bagel sandwiches — had the Jumbo classics and the hot smoked salmon and both were rich and tasty. Would suggest going early for largest bagel selections.

Bottom line at the top: one of the best bagels I’ve ever had! – Came in and had a special of the day(garlic cheddar salt?) with half plain, half honey rosemary cream cheese and a side of lox and la colombe coffee. Yumm. Honey rosemary was amazing but the lox wasn’t anything special. Line moves fast!

I have been a fan of Bagelsaurus since it was kicking it on Friday and Saturday mornings at Cutty’s in Brookline with very limited quantities. So happy to see they have their own spot in Cambridge now and even though they still sometimes run out of bagels, it’s not nearly as quick or as often as they did at Cutty’s. Now they got all the power they need to make more bagels, offer a larger menu and a small sit down space. The Classic Jumbo breakfast sandwich with ham on a sea salt bagel is my ish, It costs $ 8 with ham, $ 6 without, but it is very well worth it. I’m talking about a medium fried egg, sharp cheddar cheese and… mustard butter. Yes, mustard butter and it’s delicious. The line can get pretty long around late morning(9:45−10AM). It moves quick enough and it’s worth the wait. Just better hope they don’t run out of your favorite bagel. They are closed on Mondays. On Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8 – 10AM you can skip the line ONLY if you are buying what they call a Grab Bag or mixed baker’s dozen(13) bagels for $ 25 cash money records ONLY. Any spreads are an extra $ 5 spot. These bagels are dope.

God I love you, Bagelsaurus. Why can’t you open up another store in Central Square so that I could take our relationship to the next level and move in? Now I have to search on Zillow for apartments closer to you. I love this place. The bagel varieties are plenty and all delicious. Bagels here are never stale but rather fresh and fluffy. The Hot Salmon bagel sandwich on a seeded wheat bagel is my favorite. I love the red cabbage and dill combo with the delicious salmon. Nommmm nom nom! My husband swears by the sesame bagel toasted and lathered in honey rosemary cream cheese. And we both LOVE the banana bread here. The sugar crumble on top is completely necessary and if you come here you have to order it. Even if you feel like it’ll be too much food– just order it. You won’t regret it. Oh and there will always be a line here on the weekend. So just go early and suck it up and wait in line because it is worth it. Or don’t go because you hate lines… more bagels for me :)

The craving for another one of these amazing bagels o love is still haunting me. A friend brought me here during my visit and without a doubt I’m dying, starving, craving another hint of that yummy bagel aroma. The shop was simple and sweet. And the ordering process runs like a well oiled machine 1. Wait in line 2. Happy dance when you get inside the doors 3. Don’t slack, check out the order board and get your order set. 4. Front of the line, quick happy dance 5. Order, pay and drool 6. Wait for your name to be called and stay inside to savor the sights and smells 7. Pick up your order and dig in, don’t wait, rip the paper away with your teeth and enjoy every warm bagel mouthful. My order was the pretzel bagel with salmon; dill, onion, and avocado. Beyond amazing! I even grabed a half dozen to bring home with me, and sadly devoured them in a couple of days. Great place, great food, great service, little bit of a wait in line but all worth it! Bagelsaurus needs to open up shop in Texas now!!!

This place was a little pit stop en route for a day of #things white people like(i.e. hiking, brew tour, leaf-peeping). I rarely eat bagels(and am not a snob at all about them). In fact, I thought Bruger’s Bagels were good – but everyone gasped and was like wtf are you talking about?! The good: –delicious bagels and locks(yes, I am a JEW). –they have coffee –staff is friendly –bagels for 25 bucks in the bag. This place loses a star for price(12 dollars for a bagel w/salmon?!) #Jewish

Honey Rosemary cream cheese was the best spread I’ve ever had in awhile. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and savory. I highly recommend this one. You can also buy 8oz of spread by itself which cost about $ 5. The wait wasn’t too bad but when I went around 2pm on Saturday, they were already sold out. I can’t wait to go back to try other things on the menu!

Eggspanola with cucumbers in pretzel bagel. Egg yolk was soft, but not runny or over cooked(aka it was perfect). The parsley gremolata was savory and refreshing. I’m glad I added cucumbers for their crunch and freshness. I arrived at 11:30am on Sunday. Wait was 30 – 40 min. The wait is full of despair and by the halfway mark, you almost consider jumping ship and finding another breakfast joint. But hold fast and stay strong! The sandwich is delicious and hearty. Only downside, the bagel is very chewy so when you are eating your sandwich, the insides bust out like Britney’s 2008 comeback.

Let me first establish my bagel-eating credentials. The son of two New Yorkers and the grandson of four more, I have been avidly consuming bagels from the time I was first able to safely swallow puréed Brooklyn bagels. My parents used to finally chop them up and mix them in with my Gerbers baby food. I therefore am well-positioned to judge the quality of any bagel-be not deterred by the fact that this is my first Unilocal review. Be assured, dear reader, that my airway is sufficiently well protected to chew and swallow bagels independently at this stage. The line was justifiably long and I waited in it and am glad for my patience. I waited and I ordered the hot smoked. Upon meeting the superficial bagel tissues, my teeth were greeted with momentary resistance that gave way to a delightful and delicate crunch as the bready viscera, more comfortable against the human body than a Temperpedic mattress, held the skin just firmly enough so as to render it vulnerable to the scissoring action of my jaw. The smoked salmon tasted of freshwater and fly rods and with no hint of mercury. The dill, red onion, and pickled cabbage were so perfectly complimentary as to bring the salmon forth from smoky death, alive as if swimming upriver on the tongue, spurred along its treacherous journey by the softest cream cheese cradling the fish and running countercurrent to it. A more selfish reviewer might advise against visiting this Jurassic wonderland that he might reach the register sooner. But why play reindeer games when one wishes for a world with more bagelsauri with whom to play?

The hype is real people. The hype is real. Bagelsaurus is the real deal and it’s worth the upcharge and semi long line(don’t worry it cycles through very fast) The $ 20 bakers dozen grab bag is a little hack. Only available till 10AM and it’s cash only(grab bag as in u don’t get to choose the flavors) Bagels are soft on the inside with a little crunch on the outside(perfect!) baked not boiled. Cool logo.

I really can’t believe we did not know about this place before. Quite literally shocked. This is hands down the best bagel place in the Boston area(Katz was my previous favorite and I think I may still prefer their actual bagels but you can’t get egg, bacon etc at Katz like you can here). Seriously, we always look for that yummy NY style bagel joint in whatever city we go to and this may just be it for Boston. Here are the pros: — Menu options are all delicious(I had two bagels — one custom(egg, bacon, cream cheese, salted butter on everything) and one T-Rex(bacon, banana, almond butter) so that I could really get a taste and they were both awesome — Try the banana coffee cake but skip the oatmeal choc chip cookie(the cookie was good just not all that special) — Try the Cucumber Lemonade if any part of you thinks you might enjoy it. I had never had it before but I was happy I took the gamble — Iced Coffee was great too — We went at 1PM on Saturday(2 hours before closing) and they still had all of their menu options so that was nice since some places in Boston run out pretty quickly — Service was great — food came quickly and perfect; there is free water available too As you can tell by now, we tried a lot of the menu options. Here are the cons: — No Snapple :( — Not much seating space inside especially when you consider the long line of people that builds up, wish there was seating outside — On the pricey side — Seriously, no Snapple.

I finally got a chance to come by Bagelsaurus, and ITWASAMAZING. I came with two other friends, and we all ordered the same sandwich, the eggspanola(jumbo over-medium egg(perfect)!!! Maplebrook feta!!! pimenton aioli(unfffff)!!! parsley-scallion gremolata(yes)!!! DYING!!!). We did, however, vary our choice of bagel – both of them got the pretzel, but I went with a recommendation from the staff to get the black olive. The pretzel was a little salty but definitely still chewy and delicious with great texture, and I really loved my black olive bagel, which I felt complimented the interior of the sandwich very well. DEFINITELY going to try to make it back to Bagelsaurus before I graduate. I don’t know what it’s like on weekends, but it was pretty packed on Friday at 10:15AM. Be warned: A cute, bright space full of natural lighting but VERY limited seating.
