I’ve never had anything framed before, so I was a bit nervous — the guys at BFW were very helpful and didn’t bat an eyelash when I told them my budget was much smaller than what they initially showed me. The final product looks great, and they gave me a substantial new customer discount. Oh — I ended up not using the Unilocal deal because the new customer discount was better.

After trying various Boston outfits, I’ve had several photos, posters, watercolors and a diploma framed at Boston Frameworks, the quality of the work, expected completion time and customer service have always been excellent.
Moreover, they completed 3 unique projects: framing my grandfather’s newspaper obituary, framing an array of heavy medallions from my grandfather’s trophies and building a custom mirror for my living room. It was moving when my grandmother asked to meet Brian to personally thank him for their fine work in creating memories of her husband. To date, the old newspaper articles have held up well because of the UV glass and acid-​free backings the team suggested.
I have referred others to this business, most recently one purchased a framed Bruins newspaper article, and they too were very pleased with their overall experience.

I needed a wall mirror and was able to pick out a frame at Boston Frameworks and have them put a mirror in. The selection was excellent, and I found exactly what I was looking for. Paul waited on me and was extremely helpful. My mirror came out great!

I have written only one review previously on Unilocal and it was for an incredibly talented woman who designed my website. I was very suprised and honored to be her first review. This represents my second one.
Simply put, I have been going to Boston Frame Works for over thirteen years and I have spent several thousand dollars in framing photographs and artwork for friends, family and myself. I have been extremely happy with the knowledge, the helpful suggestions and the quality of workmanship that has been provided to me on each occasion by the wonderful crew of Brian, Jay and Paul.
While there are other options that might offer to do the work faster and more cheaply, I know that I have beautifully finished pieces that my family and I will enjoy for years and generations to come. I would simply not wish to go anywhere else.
Not only are are «good things worth waiting for», but they do it right.

The guys over at Frame Works do an excellent job framing, not to mention that they’ve been nothing but helpful during the numerous times my family and I have been patrons at the store over the years.
I was also incredibly grateful when they offered to frame a print for a fundraiser I was hosting. Very professional, very nice and very good!

I have had okay experiences with them in the past. but today i am extremely frustrated as there hours are posted as opening at 10 on Saturdays. I built my mornng around going there and they weren’t open at 10:10. no sign saying they would be closed etc…
I took my business elsewhere…
