Friendly and helpful in this place. Not the biggest selection but they have the mag’s that I was looking for. The cat in the place was also friendly and they sell cheap Harvard t-shirts 10 bucks!

Crimson Corner will ALWAYS be known as Nini’s Corner in The Square. Way more cheaper than Out-of-Town News, AND the staff is polite. Chris runs it like every Mom and Pop Store should be! P.J. is always a delight to see when she comes out to greet the customers, looking to be pet. How much more New England can you get at a newsstand?

Crimson Corner will always be known to me as Nini’s Corner. For it was Nini’s for years and years and years. New name, same place. I love how unchanged it remains. Magazines, newspapers, snacks t-shirts, knick-knacks, etc. Nini’s, er, I mean, Crimson Corner has something for everyone. It’s definitely aimed at out of towners/tourists, but I know some local folk and old-time Cantabridgians patronize Nini’s, er, I mean Crimson Corner. It’s right next to the Harvard Coop and across the street from Out of Town News. Check it out next time you have time to kill.

If Cambridge spirit fit were a news stand… They have a great selection of magazines, cigarettes, cigars and gum. And they are one of the few remaining old landmarks of Harvard Sq.(although it used to be called Nini’s Corner). Stop by on your way to the T. Its worth a look!

These folks are responsible for whenever my head is stuck in a non-alt weekly and I’m gone to the world. They’re to blame for my missing countless T stops, audible gasps and ooohs in public places and frantic tearing out of photos. And it’s all because they stock great mags and papers. They also get credit for the introduction to Good mag, my new printed love. While their obscure section isn’t as diverse as say Trident, they’ve got the shop across the street beat hands down. Much respect for the people that have to lay out all the hundreds of newspapers and magazines each day, shield them from the rain and hold em down in the wind. It’s justifiable that the guys err on the surly side. Drop by for lottery tickets(great to stick in bday cards or give as party favors), tobacco(if Leavitt & Pierce is closed), Harvard souvenirs and candy(if Cardullo’s isn’t doing it for ya).
