I’ve decided that now’s the time to go into all the shops I walk past all the time. I never made it inside Cross, and now it’s gone! Harvard Sq turnover + recession = gone before you know it.

Warning — if the sales people ask you if you need help and you accept… you’ll probably spend more money than you originally intended. However, this is not the end of the world because Cross sells amazing stuff. In one stop I got a father’s day present (leather passport holder — for our upcoming Madrid trip), mother’s day present (note cards with real wildflower seeds in them, and a cube see-​through picture frame) and a treat for myself for taking a personal day from work (AMAZING leather wallet, and picture frame). Everybody LOVED their gifts (including myself).
I highly recommend going in to check it out — it’s the perfect place to buy high quality gifts.

Great little shop in the middle of Harvard Square for fun pens (yes, this is the maker of Cross pens), notebooks, stationary and travel accessories (passport holders, travel books, bags, maps, etc). I’ve been in this store many times and agree with Erica and Lindsey that it’s like going back to school shopping!
Love the little tote bags (pretty stylish), leather accessories, funky pens and travel books. This is one of those stores that have so many things to look at and play with that you can easily spend an hour and not realize it.

Love love love this store.
Merchandise is hip, practical, sleek, chic, fun and refreshing. Yes, office supplies/​stationary/​pens and other random goods can fall under the category of refreshing! I completely agree with «Erica C», doesn’t everyone love the whole fall, picking out school supplies ritual? well now you can do it year round, and adults too!
go ahead buy a new pretty planner — it’s all so much fun.

This store makes me feel like a little kid picking out school supplies in early Sept. getting ready to go back to school.
Pens, notebooks, cool office and home objects galore… bags, books, and the coolest laptop covers this side of mars… and fun random crap that can add a fun little spark to your maybe monotonous office routine.
Rafe (one of my fave handbag designers) co-​designs a line of limited edition pens that change each season… new for fall are these incredible baroque inspired printed pens and notebooks… I love them!

The best place to go for high quality pens and paper goods. Cross is a company most known for its pens, but its retail space also stocks a plethora of organization related products: planners, journals, notebooks, luggage tags etc etc etc
The stores clean lines, great lighting, and product displays make it easy to yearn for more organization in my own home.
Eye Candy for the Type A organizational freak in all of us…
