David Barnes Photography

I cannot say enough wonderful things about David. He shot our wedding in October 2011, and continues to provide excellent, courteous, and thoughtful service. We are finally finishing up the process of picking our album (our delay, not his… but seriously, how do you narrow down close to 1800 pictures to just 75?! it took a long time) and he continues to reach out to us, check to be sure we are pleased, and is willing to work with us in shipping, etc.
We were married on a Saturday. By Monday afternoon, there were sneak peaks up on Facebook. We had full discs chock full of wedding photo goodness within two weeks. Talk. About. Service.
David was easy to communicate with before the wedding, and he and his second shooter (Chris) arrived early on the day of. David made sure that the list of photos we wanted were fulfilled, even when I was getting a little cold and cranky, he made sure to grab the necessary people and snap that group photo that now I am oh-​so-​grateful to have.
Thank you, David, for capturing our wedding. These really will be photos and memories that we have forever, and you did a wonderful job capturing them for us.
PS — In terms of pricing, David was pretty middle of the road. We paid a little more to make sure we got all the albums and prints we wanted.

David did my engagement photos in the Boston Public Garden this past weekend, and he did a wonderful job. We were late, and he was so accomodating with giving us extra time. He even took us to a second location that we really wanted to shoot, even though we were over our allotted time for photos. That day he updated a sample of 17 photos, which were beautiful! We are so excited to get the rest of the photos in the mail!

David Barnes photography is phenomenal. David himself is incredibly responsive, open, genuine and full of great suggestions.
We used Ken and Mary Ellen for our wedding, and I can’t say enough great things about them. They were perfectly on time and prepared and started shooting right away. I believe they captured every single moment. Ken is hilarious and absolutely doesn’t miss a beat. He went above and beyond, especially after he had already packed up for the night and then got a request for another photo. Without hesitation he got everything out, set everything up again and took the shot. I would strongly recommend David Barnes photography!!!

We hired David to shoot our wedding, and he did a great job.
We met with several photographers, and he was by far the most organized, with good raport and communication. His backup staff is excellent as well. The pictures came out great — we got digital, so we got 2500(!) from the day. He can shoots analog. Our friends used him as well last year, and were very pleased.
