Amazing.
That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of how to describe Joyelle’s services.
We hired her to shoot our recent wedding on Cape Cod, and from start to finish, our experience was fabulous.
Joyelle is professional, friendly, understanding, personable and most of all — takes great pictures!
I consider myself a recreational/​amateur photographer myself; I don’t have a crazy DSLR or anything (mostly my iPhone these days) but I do give myself credit for having an eye for good photos and I frequently get complimented on my shots. But this review is about Joyelle, and I only mentioned my own creds so I can give her MORE cred, because it isn’t every day that I think someone takes great pictures. That being said, I saw Joyelle’s portfolio, and said to myself «these are pictures that I could not take» and that is why I knew she was right for the job. Her creativity and eye for composition pair harmoniously to produce beautiful images you will look back upon and cherish forever.
She somehow made my wedding day look even more beautiful in picture!
Joyelle has a calm, calculated approach on the day of, which really helps to let you know you don’t have to worry about her while you’re taking care of everything else on your big day.
I don’t want to give away her surprises, but I can’t help but mention that she even sent us a delicious box of chocolates as a gift before our wedding day. Wow! Totally unexpected and completely appreciated (and devoured!).
I highly recommend Joyelle, I am so, so happy with her services and the final product. The icing on the cake? The beautifully packaged DVD of our photos that arrived en tow with a nice card and even a couple of her favorite 5×7’s.

Joyelle is awesome! From the minute we met her, we knew it would be a pleasure to have her as our wedding photographer. We couldn’t decide on one location for our engagement photos, so Joyelle agreed to shoot photos for us in two different parts of the city — which we very much appreciated. She was responsive and helpful during the planning process and we couldn’t be happier with the way the wedding photos turned out. Joyelle is not at all in your face like some wedding photographers — as the night went on we barely realized she was there, but somehow creative, beautiful photos were captured! I couldn’t imagine working with another photographer — I highly recommend Joyelle!

Don’t let Joyelle’s bubbly, casual demeanor fool you. She is extremely professional and so, so talented. We are a camera-​phobic, un-​photogenic couple, but Joyelle’s masterwork got us adorable engagement shots and the most gorgeous, artistic wedding photos. She is super reliable and responsive. Joyelle is the best!
