This is my current liquor store of choice. They’ve got a pretty great selection of beer and liquor. The prices are good if you know how to shop for beer. They sell 18 packs of Rolling Rock which for me is great. I’ve never walked out empty handed. They do have a $ 10.00 minimum for debit/credit cards but I mean who really goes into a liquor store these days and doesn’t spend over 10 bucks? lol. I will say that on the weekends it can get a little packed in there because of the limited space but eh no biggie. I highly recommend them.

This place is a little dirty and cramped. If you know what you want, you can run in and run out, but it’s a terrible place for browsing. Everything is about 15% more expensive than it should be(and than it is at Prospect Liquors down the street) and they have a $ 10 credit card minimum, which I find very frustrating.

Pretty good packie for the area. Downside: In the wintertime, I am so afraid that I’m going to turn around in one of the very narrow, short aisles and knock over 10 bottles of wine with my puffy coat. Upside: When I can’t get to Sav-Mor, I hit up Martin Bros. Martin Bros. is conveniently located(69 bus stop right across the street) and the selection and price are pretty decent(an $ 8 bottle of Malbec? Yes, please!). Also, Martin Bros. never runs out of what I’m looking for — another plus, as I find this tends to happen at these smaller joints. The best feature is, without a doubt, the guys behind the counter. They are super friendly and know my order by heart!(Oops — did I just out myself as a regular?)
