I don’t have high standars for fast food… But they take the cake for bad service … When someone says please no onions because I am allergic you would think they would get it right. At Tue order window and at the register they were asked to not put onions… And they put more onions…

Came here on a late night to grab something to eat with some friends. The chain was closed but the drive-thru window was still open so we got the food and just sat outside the area to eat. While we are eating, this homeless dude came over and started talking mad trash. We even bought him a sandwich too and he still talked mad trash. Although this story has nothing to do with this particular McDonald’s chain, I still think they should have done something if they saw this homeless guy bothering their customers.

I’m here on a Saturday afternoon 5:48pm. They have great attitude and answer all my questions nicely. I would definitely come back again for friendly staffs and enjoy my happy weekend.

Rude. I’ll never come here at late night again. Maybe the person taking the order at the drive thru could not have an attitude when I’m asking for a substitution for a value meal item.

The only reason why I sometimes end up here is because there are not really that many alternatives in the vicinity(Dunkin’ Donuts is not doing it for me) — but I always regret having eaten unhealthy fastfood the moment I exit the restaurant. Next time, I’ll better go to Star Market next door, buy some food, and prepare it myself. Or avoid this area around lunchtime altogether.

I went last night and got chicken nuggets. The workers were nice and virtuous even gave me extra sweet and sour sauce they get points for that. I did not try to use my debit card I payed cash I’m not sure if this location still only takes cash.

Food was fine, standard McDonalds-grade stuff. My Diet Coke, however, was atrociously bad. Surreally bad. Bafflingly bad — the water here is decent and the soda syrup obviously isn’t made on-site, so why did my Diet Coke taste like a public health crisis? I don’t understand it, don’t want to understand.

Get your Mickey d’s ishh together! I only stopped by here to pick up nuggets & fries for a friend who was working an overnight shift. It took too damn long for his order I felt like driving through the damn restaurant and cooking(or reheating) the food my damn self! Then the lady at the 2nd window was preparing drinks like she was a freaking bartender at some nightclub & didn’t give me the Hi-C or acknowledge me for a good 45 seconds(ya! I timed it). Note: my friend originally wanted the 2 cheeseburger meal but they were out of burgers for that order??? So how do u have the meat for the quarter pounders & Big Macs but not the double cheeseburgers??? Aren’t they cut from the same cloth? Or cow? Yea… that’s what I thought! Screw you and your cold fries!

would have given 0 if possible. was trying to redeem a purchased voucher for big mac/fries and feel like I was treated like I am a criminal. The owner/manager was initially going to honor it but then changed mind pointing on «void where prohibited» Copyright 2011 MCDonald as the«expiration date». There is no expiration dates stated, void where prohibited is not a expiration date according to Massachusetts law. shady place, definitely did not feel like i am a customer. would avoid in the future.

I ordered a meal here, and sat sipping my coffee and browsing the Internet on my laptop while waiting for a friend. The supervisor came over after an hour and asked me to leave. I looked around at the 20+ open chairs, told him that I had ordered a meal, and was waiting for a friend. He insisted that this is the last time I do this, stating that too many customers stay too long. I would understand if seating were an issue, but also not much worth in arguing over the experience of waiting at a McDonald’s when better establishments are nearby. Although this McDonald’s has a newer design than most and is fairly clean, I would not recommend based on the supervisor’s rapport with customers.

This place sucks. Better go to a Dunkin Donuts down the road.

I really dislike this McDonalds. I worked nearby and it was the spot for really quick eats on the cheap. I like McDonalds. I’m one of the few people who actually isnt a McDonald’s hater(remember folks, everything in moderation). But I also worked for them briefly as a manager, so I hold McD to their corporate standards strigently. This because once you know how it should be done, you expect it this way every time. But digress, I just really dislike this one. I’ve just eaten at enough McDonald’s to know that certain ones are just bad, and this one is one of them. I’ve always waited when I go inside(which boggles me about McDonalds around here in general, they *always* focus on the drive-thru more than the walk in customers, when it used to not be like.(see my other McD reviews) They *always* short changed me on french fries. Sometimes the food is cold and not hot, or the presentation is wrong.(Big Macs messily placed in boxes). I just see tons of violations that corporate would have a fit over(and could yank their franchise, and yes folks its happened!) The store itself is OK. Recently its gone under a remodel, as are most of the McDonald’s in the metro area are going thru. I actually quite surprised to see the entire shape of then store changing, as this store was a 1980s-era store(with its big flourencent lights on the roof), as its a very costly thing to do(and keep the store open at the same time). So kind of suprised there. Location can’t be beat. Right on McGrath in a shopping center. I guess that’s why I have a love/hate relationship with this store. Its an awful store, yet the location is so good. And drive thru open 24 hours. Yeah sadly, this is one of the few places in Camb/Somer/Medford/Everett area that’s open 24 hours. Sigh. I just avoid this McDonald’s as much as possible.

Stop here for an emergency pre-shopping Newman’s Own Organics Iced Coffee and you won’t make bad decisions at the grocery store from sheer starvation. You’re welcome.

I’m a fan in that the place is clean, nice, and they have decent low priced menu options. The late night menu being open 24 hours is a joke, but what can you do I guess. Compared to some other mcds in town, they’re much nicer. PS — apparently they have wireless, bring your laptop and your very very important business to take care of there. Bring your team and business leaders there, it’s a great place to power lunch.

evidence shows this sort of fast food makes you fat and dumb. that said, i’d like a chicken biscuit and a hash brown. because it’s just that good. oh, and i loved that cute thing you did the other day where you put a hole in the bottom of my coffee cup and it leaked all over my carpet and i cussed and flailed for a while cause i had just cleaned it. hilar.

BAH! This place makes my neighborhood stink and though it may be clean on the inside I’ve watched them push their trash out of the parking lot in to the surrounding area. Nice. Sure, the ‘food’ is cheap but you get what you pay for…

Stress makes some people eat less. Stress makes me eat like a polar bear preparing for the winter. I went here this morning after going to Shaw’s for cookie cake. After forsaking oatmeal for Starbucks egg sandwiches during finals/student teaching/kaplan/etc crunch, my body got tired of the yuppie mcmuffins and lattes. Today after scooting out of Shaw’s at 7:15 a.m., I saw the golden arches and started craving McDonald’s fountain soda and sausage biscuits. The sausage biscuits are greasier than I remember. The hash browns are better than I remember. A medium soda full of half Coke/half Diet Coke pwns Starbucks lattes. The place, as Nick B. says, was surprisingly clean. If I hadn’t had student teaching today, I might have stayed to work on my portfolio via the free wi-fi – how’s that for bizarro yuppie hybrid?

I really want to add 1 star to my 4-star review because Julia F. gave this McDonald’s a baseless 1-star review, but I can’t justify giving a McDonald’s 5 stars. In any event, to answer Julia F.‘s question, «Can we take a second to talk about WHY they have wi-fi at McDonald’s?», yes we can. McDonald’s has been promoting wireless Internet to its customers primarily for one reason: the Nintendo DS. McDonald’s isn’t trying to cater to the Starbucks crowd. Let’s be honest — those people probably haven’t eaten McDonald’s in years. Instead, McDonald’s is catering to the clientele who spend the most time in their restaurants: children and their parents. Kids who are addicted to their Nintendo DS’s can now fire up a quick multiplayer game with other kids at McDonald’s while they all chomp on their 4-piece Chicken McNugget Happy Meals. It’s actually a smart business move on McDonald’s’ part which I’m sure results in a good amount of repeat business. Now, I give this McDonald’s 4 stars for three reasons, and please note I am rating this McDonald’s relative to other McDonald’s. Reason #1: 24 hour service. Reason #2: Drive-thru service. In Cambridge/Somerville, a drive-thru is a luxury. I wish more places had them. Reason #3: Clean premises. I live within walking distance of this McDonald’s and was pleasantly surprised to find the inside of this place very clean. If you have to go to a McDonald’s, you won’t go wrong going to this one!

For what Bogie just said: ditto. Plus, it’s nice to have a place to grab a burger and a parfait for just over 2 bucks when I’m on the run.

Can we take a second to talk about WHY they have wi-fi at McDonalds? What is wrong with this world? Do you really want to spend that much time there? Really? Do you?
