Parkside Tastee Freeze

This place is perfect when you take your kids to the city park in the summer. They have milkshakes, hand dipped ice cream, flavored soft serve, sundaes… the list goes on. The summer workers are usually just students. They are usually very friendly and helpful. They aren’t always used to big groups but in the end everyone ends up happy. Portions are wonderful. And the price? With taking 5 kids to the park on a regular basis I can always stop and never break the bank. The true beauty of this place is that they have put such a gem where you can make a day of a trip to the park and ice cream with your kids. There is seating outside to relax and enjoy. I hope they open again this summer and don’t change a thing.
