Oh my god the pies are amazing. I’ve only had the savory pies. Will have to try something sweet next time! The crust stays together very well and the filling is packed with flavor.

This shop is so cute and the pies are delicious! I went with friends for brunch and we each got a savory slice. I really loved the bacon, leek, & gruyère(can never go wrong with bacon and cheese!) and both my friends enjoyed the roasted vegetable and goat cheese. They also have a nice selection of tea, coffee, and pastries.

I needed a spot with wifi to get some work done while having coffee and breakfast. This place is peaceful and quiet enough. I got a delicious scone and breakfast sandwich with coffee. Total was less than $ 10. The people are nice like other reviews note AND, what’s really big for me is that they have an outlet to charge your computer in which most places with wifi do not offer.

The help is very polite and pleasant Also you need only to say your order one time! That is not true everywhere sad to say. The food is fresh and tastes great. Peaceful atmosphere with calming low volume music. This is a place worth going out of your way for. I have been here several times and always observe the same outstanding service. Go to young tall guy(shaved) hair; couldn’t be more helpful with pie orders or whatever you ask for. A pleasure!

Walked in at 11:32am and asked if I can get a muffin and egg sandwich and the girl was beyond rude and told me that they stopped serving breakfast at 11:30am and that I just missed it by two minutes and laughed. I will never come back here ever again. Dunkin donuts or Starbucks give better customer service than this shop.

I was really looking forward to going to Petsi Pies based on the reviews but I was very disappointed. First I thought $ 5.95 for a tiny slice of quiche that was nuked was excessive. Second the selection was disappointing. Perhaps it was an off day but I’ve had much better!

Holy shit the Mississippi Mud pie. Best pie ever. Try it. For real.

Pastry is not that good. They put sugar on top. Croissants and scones are nice. But everything is tailored to the average US consumer. Can you imagine a scone with bacon!!!

Had a chance to stop in here today even though my body begged me not too lol. It was so delicious! Everything from the sample of their grapefruit tea cake to the complementary slice of chocolate pecan pie! I’m not a huge chocolate fan, but I devoured the pie, but it is very rich and sweet. The apple walnut cake that I purchased was delicious too, very moist and not too overwhelmingly sweet. All in all in I’m grateful I stumbled upon this place while exploring Cambridge. I highly recommend it to anyone who happens to be in the neighborhood. Oh yeah awesome customer service as well!

A really nice local atmosphere with a good service and obviously good pies. The sandwiches are really good and not too expensive with fresh products. I usually go there to work while having a cup of coffee or a good chai latte when I want to treat myself. :) It is definitely the best café in the neighborhood so far!

The first time I heard of Petsi Pies was when I had one for dessert at TUPELO. The crust was light and flaky while the filling was just sweet enough with plump, fresh berries. I got the name of the baker from the waiter and next week went to the bakery. I pursued the website before hand and was gladdened by the selection of sweet and savory pies. When I finally got to the store, it was filled with subtle aromas of the pies cooked that morning. I got several pies, sweet and savory which lasted a week, yes they were THAT good! The staff was super friendly and helpful and I thought that the prices were very reasonable for the exceptional quality that I got.

Love grabbing lunch or snacks at Petsi Pies! The staff are super friendly and the food is great. My favorite is the tag sandwich or if I’m looking for a hearty snack, the yogurt parfait is absolutely decadent. You can’t help but get dessert too. You must try the salted Carmel Apple pie and the chocolate apricot cookies, yum! Bonus: They also sell pies during the holiday season. I got two for thanksgiving and they were a big hit.

what a great bakery! They had a nice variety of pies and pastries to choose from. I got a sweet potato muffin — and it was delicious! It was like a cinnamon crumb cake fill with sweet potato pie. Definitely a must have if you go there. The staff was very friendly — and he definitely helped me make the decision on what to order. They also had really good coffee. Then again, it was snowing, so anything warm was high on my list that day :) I also got a slice of chocolate hazelnut cake to eat that afternoon. It was so yummy — moist and delicious! Next time I am in Cambridge, I will definitely be back! It was worth a 5 block walk from my hotel in freezing weather!

I love this little shop! Delicious all around, from the pies,(savory & sweet), to the breakfast sandwiches to the drinks! You can tell everything is made with love. Friendly service, free wifi, and a chill environment. So glad this place opened up in my neighborhood!

It’s January 18th, 2015 and its a day I will remember for 2 reasons: I had the greatest pie ever and I had the worst customer experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. This place would easily get 5 stars if they hired competent employees but I am sorry to say the employees at this location were lost. First of all there were only 8 people in the café when I was there, which is not a lot for 2 people(not including the chef) to handle. The 2 women serving were a complete mess; mixing up customer orders, forgetting orders and leaving us there waiting for 15 minutes. I was waiting in line with a friend when one of the women came out and said«oh I am sorry, I thought you had been served already»; she took my friends order, left for a while before coming back 10 minutes later to say the same exactly thing to me, even though it was obvious that we were there together. Thankfully the pie was worth the wait but I recommend going to another location or having petsi train her employees a bit more.

We tried a slice of Petsi’s blueberry pie and pumpkin pie. The slices were absolutely delicious! I think the key is to go to Petsi early if you want to try quality pie that melts in your mouth. The pies sit outside so based on experience I feel like the longer you wait to go there in the day the more likely your pie won’t taste as moist and fresh.

OMG It’s love at first bite. First things first — I usually hate bakeries, especially ones with awnings smack dab in the middle of Hipsterville — but this place isn’t twee — it’s PLEASANT — a long forgotten atmosphere in these parts. Staff are super friendly — The kind, cardigan wearing man who walked me through the order — asked me if I needed any more help — I responded«No» but what I really wanted to say was«Yes, please read me bedtime stories.» Who doesn’t want to bring home a man who bakes cookies and sounds like Bön Iver? No one? Duh. Pursuant to his suggestion, I ordered the savory special: Bacon, leek and Guyere quinche with a side salad for $ 5.80. It was amazing… the flavors were perfectly balanced — none were overpowering. The crust was flaky, each bite was cheesy. no complaints here. The salad, although not earth shattering, came with a very zesty, obviously home made Balsamic. I’m coming back, Petsi Pies. Whether you interpret this as a threat or a promise… your call. But I want one of everything.

So fantastic to see a Petsi Pies awning on Cambridge Street. Open 7 days a week(7 – 3 on week days, 8 – 3 on weekends), this has to be a dessert destination for people doing some shopping at Mayflower Poultry, New Deal Seafood, Courthouse Seafood and other infamous spots in the Lechmere/Inman Square area. Street parking is easy and it’s also a short walk from the T stop. They offer all kinds of sweets(and they are very sweet; you may get a sugar rush after just one bite), a few savory items and excellent coffee. Free WiFi if you decide to stop and hang out for a while. The people here are really nice, and the atmosphere is relaxed and calm. I do wish they had some vegan pastries and pies, but that may come some day. Call ahead if you are interested in a whole pie rather than a slice or two. Cambridge Street offers some really terrific spots to shop for good food, fish, spices, pizza, ice cream and more. All it was missing was pie. Happy to see that Petsi Pies has joined the team.

First off, it’s pronounced /peeetsi/. Not like your pet cat or iguana, but Pete, like the moss or the Frampton. Secondly, not sure whether to think of them as a coffee shop with great baked goods, or a bakery with a café-vibe, but either way you’ll find great stuff here. Just opened so are still adding to their offerings, but here’s what I was able to try thus far: Chocolate walnut brownie: superb, with rich bittersweet and semi-sweet local Taza chocolate(made just up the street in Somerville). Chocolate chip cookies: very tasty, a little on the dry side tho. Pecan pie. ooey and gooey and very tasty. not as eggy as I like, but that’s just my personal pref. Potato leek soup. very flavorful and very vegan, but tasted rich nonetheless. it was the only savory offering at lunchtime, but they are planning on adding more stuff, I am told. They also have apple cranberry strusels, banana muffins, corn muffins, and a bunch of different scones and many more cookies(snickerdoodle, peanut butter, molasses ginger, to name a few) Really friendly staff who can tell you all about the baked goods. Seating is a little sparse, but I assume that is one of the things they are adding. Def a great addition to the area. Can’t wait to try again.
