My 6 year old got her ears pierced this weekend. She knows I post reviews on this site and before falling asleep last night she gently reminded me to post a good review. We had a wonderful man, and I was so nervous for my daughter I forgot his name. Wish I knew. He called her by the name. Very gentle voice and smile. Even took time when we first got their to learn her stuffed animals name :)

They don’t do body piercings here– which apparently includes cartilage, which I thought was weird. So basically they’ll only do lobe piercings, just FYI.

I brought my six-year-old daughter to them this past Friday to get her ears pierced. It was her birthday and she was so excited to have it done. Danielle was a dream — she was so fabulous with my child. She was warm, friendly and very patient. We decided to have both ears pierced together(even though Danielle said she’d just done a 3-month old baby one ear at a time, and the baby hadn’t even cried!). So Danielle and another woman who worked there both pierced on a count of three. My daughter didn’t cry at all(though she said later that it did hurt, and she was very glad she hadn’t had to face it twice). I thought they were very organized, and most importantly, very clean and sanitary. They use a little gun-type piercer, so each pair of earrings comes in a sterile, sealed container and doesn’t come out until it’s time to do the piercing. The technician used lots of Purell and wore gloves before handling the earrings. They explained the after-care to me very clearly, and even though I arrived feeling really nervous, I left feeling great(and proud of my kid!). Overall, I was really impressed. My only caveat is, the other woman working was definitely not as friendly or warm, so if you are planning to bring a kid, I’d call first and ask for Danielle.
