Great pizza at a great price! Always super nice people running the place.

I made an account to write this review. This place is seriously that good.
Delicious, generous portions, and insanely good prices. Really though… Cambridge is getting ridiculously expensive and this place is my savior. I can’t afford (nor do I want) $ 20 organic, grass-​fed burgers and hand cut fries sprinkled with rosemary and parmesan. Besides, this place has the best roast beef sandwich in metro Boston (I’ve tried them all) and their fries are ace. I also highly recommend their calzones.

Delicious food! I often get it delivered and it arrives hot and fresh, the delivery driver is always friendly as well. Pro tip: Try anything you’d get as a sub, as a wrap such as steak and cheese, pastrami — much easier to eat that way and so good!

The store doesn’t look like much, but it delivers! Beef 3-​way was ridiculously good. Beef was very tender and delicious. Fries are pro. Eat it for lunch and you won’t need another meal the rest of the day.

We stayed in a hotel near here and decided to order food. We ordered a meatball sub, buffalo chicken wrap, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. My husband really liked his meatball sub and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks even came with a side order of marinara sauce which he said tastes homemade. My wrap was very tasty. I added onions and they added raw onions that tasted fresh. The only bad things were I did not get the side of ketchup I asked for and the onion rings were not very good. The onion rings were made with what tasted like sweet onions. They didn’t taste like onion at all. Maybe that’s how this restaurant likes to make their onion rings but I wasn’t a fan. All in all, very good food and we would definitely go back. Would have been five stars if it weren’t for the lack of ketchup and flavorless onion rings.

I just spent literally 40 minutes on the phone with a lovely woman who was so patient with me as I kept changing my catering order for an event I’m planning tomorrow. She never once got annoyed and even will allow me to call tomorrow only one hour before delivery to give her final numbers for the event (we never know how many kids will show up at the events!) I’m a huge fan of this place. There’s nothing better than a friendly staff to make your whole night.

Great neighborhood spot. Really tasty roast beef sandwiches, but my favorite is their buffalo chicken wrap – it’s the best around. They also have good fries. Their pizza isn’t bad, but it’s not really the thing to order here. Stick with the sandwiches and wraps and you won’t be disappointed.

This is my go to local place to get takeout and delivery in Cambridge. Everything always arrives quick, hot and delicious. My favorites are the Super Beef 3-​Way and their Buffalo Chicken Calzone. The beefs are always nice and rare with plenty of sauce served on a fresh onion roll. The calzones are always cooked perfectly with a monster layer of melted cheese on top.
Prices are also very reasonable!

I live a little over a half mile away from Skampa, and it is so hard to find any good food in the area that is not also stupid expensive, which is the main reason I give Skampa 5 stars.
I have to say, I’ve only ordered their chicken cutlet sub so far, and it’s awesome. My girlfriend has ordered two of their salads, and while she didn’t much care for the tuna salad, she loves the chicken heaven salad. I probably should dock them a star for giving her ranch dressing when she asked for Italian lite, but we’re definitely still gonna order from here, so I won’t.
Honestly, even though it’s cheap, this place is dangerous for my wallet. I had gotten more used to cooking at home because Cambridge restaurants are, in my opinion, so wildly overpriced. But now, having discovered Skampa, there go my savings.

Stopped in here while waiting for a funerals calling hours down the street. Either they just opened for the day or their heat wasn’t working as it was freezing (it was winter). There were 4 of us and we each got something different, most was «fair’. I had a roast beef sandwich as that seemed to be their specialty but it was just OK, someone else has mozzarella sticks but they seemed like they had cooked them for too long, they looked overdone.

Came here and got a kabob chicken feta salad. Although the food was plentiful, both the veggies and meat, it just wasn’t really good. Flavor was blah and the salad wasn’t very interesting. Pieces of chicken and cheese were huge. More quantity than quality. Maybe the burgers were better.

Not really sure why this place has 4 stars… *bewildered*
My dad and I ordered their chicken parm dinner and it was so dry and flavorless. The garlic bread was just a sub roll with garlic salt and melted butter… also dry and flavorless.
Def, won’t be going back.
Sad, I had high hopes with all the high reviews. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish… ???
Definitely don’t order the chicken parm, if you do… keep low expectations and maybe you will be pleasantly surprised! Lol…

Nice little Greek restaurant within a 10 minute walk of the Boston Museum of Science. When you order at the counter, the owner towers about 5 feet over you, making you feel like you’re looking up at a giant. Her daughter was also present and entertaining to watch.
The french fries were deliciously double fried! I got the roast beef too. It was good, but not quite the bees knees as everyone else said. Price is not bad

I’ve never been to a restaurant with such poor service towards customers. The ladies at the counter act as though it’s a privilege to eat here and are rude to local students, not allowing them to sit, despite being paying customers. I’d rather eat anywhere else in Cambridge. The food is mediocre at best and not worth the prices or the hassle of interacting with the staff.

Typical sub-​urban sandwich shop. Good reasonably priced menu selection with fast friendly service. Seems to be a popular stop for locals to the area.

Stay away from this place if you can. The lady here was so rude to this other customer cause the younger girl did not charge him for the Fries he asked for. She was like are you going to pay for the fries or are you stealing them. Who talks to the customer like that. I was discussed! Now I am at home running to the bathroom every 10 minutes or so. My advice if you value being respected and don’t like spending alot of time in the bathroom then just skip this place.

Stopped in here randomly for a bite to eat. Ordered super cheesey pizza and my friend had a sandwich and fries. The food was really good, a bit greasy but hey that’s what were looking for that day! The prices are definitely decent! The portions are gigantic! We definitely couldn’t eat everything (which is not necessarily a bad thing I guess). The service is really friendly! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because they close so early! I’m a bit of a night owl and when I want pizza late I would love to order from here, I just can’t! Otherwise I have no complaints and highly recommend!

Best roast beef in the city. I try to eat here at least once a month. The hot super beef is freaking amazing. Get a large order of fries to share and you are all set. The rest of the food is great too, pizza has always been good. I order the roast beef and my eyes never wander.

Love this place. I see a lot of people complaining about the pasta dishes, but why in the name of God would you get pasta from a sub shop?
Things I love about this place:
Definitely a mom and pop shop and it’s run by a husband and wife.
The wife always greets you with a «what would you like hunny?»
SKAMPA HEALTHY SUB ON A PITABREAD. I know, you’ll read it and think that really sounds boring, but try it. I don’t know what kind of drugs they put in this sandwich but I keep coming back for it. Best sandwich they make next to their roast beef!
CHEAP ! You get a crazy amount of food when you get a dinner (rice, onion rings, salad and a desert for like 10 bucks.
The pizza’s kind of are bad but huge slices (¼ of a pizza) and I am pretty sure they offer a one topping lunch special pizza afor 4.99 with a drink.
The buffallo chicken sandwich is also REALLY good for 4 dollars or so.
The roast beef is in a category all in itself. Just get the bbq sauce and mayo like they normally put it. Oh boy.
Definitely my favorite delivery /​quick takeout place in East Cambridge.
