When I asked the server if the vegetarian dishes were made with fish sauce, she told me they were. I asked again, emphasizing that these were vegetarian dishes, and she confirmed her previous statement. I understand that you _can_acquire vegetarian«fish sauce,» but I would approach this restaurant with the normal amount of suspicion reserved for Asian food.

I do not understand the low stars on this place! It is a food court not Ruth Chris! First off it is in a great location, very handy when you are in the 4 story mall. It is very inexpensive. Many Thai food court places are well over $ 9.00 for a dish. This was only $ 6.99. It was fantastic! They allowed me to substitute vegetables instead of rice or noodles without an up charge. I thought that was great! The food was great, the curry as good as any Thai sit down restaurant. I took mine to go to take back to my hotel, rather than eat it in the mall. You always have options. I will defiantly go here again. It was good and a great price.

Ordered white rice and garden veggies, the rice was ok but the veggies(broccoli, carrot & cabbage) tasted like a salt lick, it was awful.

I do not recommend this restaurant. You have many other choices in the Galleria mall food court. I ordered Pad Thai and orange chicken, but they tasted too bad even though I was very hungry. I could have cooked much better Pad Thai than it. It looked very old, too.

This was pretty much the worst Thai food I’ve ever had in my life. I really regret not going to either the Mediterranean place that I saw as soon as I sat down with my food or just plain old Burger King. Either one would have been better. Ben F. was right– the Pad Thai had absolutely no flavor and was just like eating plain noodles. The crab rangoon was disgusting, but the worst was my husband’s pick-three combo plate of awful chicken, nasty pork fried rice, and florescent colored pork(or maybe it was chicken– who knows?). I should have known better. And the people at the counter weren’t very nice either.

For lack of better words this place really blows. I met the GF for lunch int he mall and she wanted Burger King. However, I am very resistant to the major fast food chains so I wanted to try something else. I have had sarku japan many times and was looking for something else. Being in the mood for Thai I decided to check out this place. I asked for samples of the spicy basil chicken, the regular basil chicken, and the cashew chicken. The lady seemed to get agitated by me asking for samples, but I was really just trying to find something tolerable. After not having the balls to walk away and try another place I went with the basil chicken over noodles which cost about $ 7 with a bottle of water. I ate less than ½ of this because all the grease and fat was just gross. Sure enough I had a stomach ache 20 minutes later. Next time I will listen to the GF and just get burger king.

Truly awful. I like cheap eats like greasy lo mein, but this was just awful. The pad Thai had no flavor and no sprouts; the fried, glazed meat was soggy and bready and greasy and flavorless. The portions were huge, but we threw most of it out and wound up trying again at Taco Bell and D’Angelo’s.

Ummm… ok — Well! Let me see, how do I put this without being mean? HERE I GO — The food gives you instant heart burn and the woman that works there is a real C#*T for snapping at the sweet old lady in the line!!! Whew! That was easy… Just my $ 0.02…

Let me just say this… EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Disgusting. NASTY crab rangoons, tasted like onions and poison. Both kinds of chicken I got were GROSS. Noodles were not Thai. UGH. never again.

Of all the places in the food court, I think the quality of food at Thai Accent varies the most from day to day. One day I’ll get the pad thai and crispy chicken and it will actually taste good, while another i’ll get the hot basil chicken and fried rice and it will be horrendous. They used to not take credit cards, too, which made absolutely no sense. So buyer beware, there is probably a 50% chance you won’t like whatever it is you order. The only reason I’m giving them two stars is because they have Pepsi on tap instead of Coke, which is a huge plus for a Pepsi-lover like me.

I’m embarrassed to admit it but i really love their Hot Basil Noodles and their Mango Tofu isn’t half bad either. If the BF wants to go to Game Stop or Best Buy I’ll sneak home a container of Thai Accent for the fridge, that doesn’t last long enough to actually make it into the fridge… Its too damn cheap and delicious. How shaming.

Another day in the food court. I briefly considered Burger King for some reason, but I settled next door at Thai Accent. Will the Accent chain be opening restaurants across the board with these names? English Accent? South Shore Accent? Vaguely Great Lakes-ish Midwestern Accent? I went for this place because of the veg options and wasn’t really disappointed at all. Other factors could have been: no one out front trying to get me to taste chicken products, it’s not a superhuge chain, it’s signage is cheery, there was no line, it’s not expensive like the Shrimp place(which is aesthetically superior to all other places at the food court, but I can’t bring myself to drop $ 8 on a food court lunch), and I didn’t want to hit Sakio or Master Wok, neither of which are all that great. At first I was reeled in by the Hot Basil Noodles, which were like $ 4.95 for a regular(as opposed to «small») order. Then the girl about to ring me up caught me eying the tofu meals(curry and spicy – not on the menu, maybe these are a day-to-day thing) and said I could add some of those to my pile of noodles for an extra 75 cents. Hey, thoughtful human interaction and bartering at the food court. I’ll take it. So it was a bit of a lie — she took back my styrofoam thing and scooped noodles from it back into the noodle vat and replaced them with the spicy tofu, which I’m not sure about in terms of food service protocol, but oh well. The food was pretty delish. Kind of heavy for what you’d normally have in mind when hitting a Thai place, but it was a-okay to me. The spicy tofu was quite spicy, glazingly sweet and ushering in that ghostly trace of ketchup taste that sneaks into things like this and tom yum soup now and then to suprisingly satisfying effect. The noodles were even spicier, maybe a bit too sticky and unfresh seeming, and too heavy on the cabbage, I’d say. As usual, brocolli was tasty on top but my plastic fork had trouble piercing its stems. I’d give another star if these bozos would figure something, anything, out besides styrofoam containers.

Absolutely disgusting. I had their chicken dish there and I almost threw up. I never even dare walk in front of it anymore. My friend had a bite too and he got sick as hell. Hit up Sakio Japan or Master Wok instead… or don’t eat. I almost wish I could give it a negative star but that feature not being available on this site, I’ll have to settle with a one star. I guess the only positive I could ever find for all of the negative is their portion size. But then again, would you really want to eat a lot of crappy food? HELLNO.

I love the Cambridge mall food court, there are sooo many choices. I always end up walking from one end to the other and back before deciding what I’ll be pigging on. As usual, I strolled from one end to the other sampling the free Teriyaki and Cajun Chicken that they keep passing out to undecided people like me. But I was lured by the green curry at Thai Accent. I was sort of disappointed by their food but I must say for $ 5.50 nobody gives you that much food in this food court, ok maybe Taco Bell.
