Their«authentic» chile relleno is a cheesy poblano pepper wrapped in a corn tortilla — not good. Host was too busy to find us a table, servers couldn’t decide whose table we were, food was fast because I imagine it is microwaved or quick heated from frozen. Not good, not authentic, bad service, questionable food, will not return.

We had to ask for a waiter to even get drinks. The food was way overpriced for the quality and size of the dishes. We had to ask for our check so we could finally leave this terrible experience.

Food was great, but the service was very slow and wasn’t that clean. I would look for somewhere else to eat before sitting there waiting for 30 mins waiting to have are order taken and checks giving to us

Went here with familyband freinds. It not bad place i just think the portions r small. I been to other mex restaurants snd im like wow. I got a taco salad and it looked like a kids portion.

Excellent choice for Tex Mex. Fresh taste and not buried under a thick layer of yellow melted cheese. Service was friendly and well timed. They have also spared no expense with decorating. Very pleasant overall. Easy access off I-70 near Pilot gas station and Walmart in strip mall on the hill.

Im pretty picky when it comes to good mex food, this place by far has been the best mex I’ve eaten in a long time. Wait staff was very friendly, checked on us enough but not to much, saw we ran out of salsa for our chips and just brought more out we didn’t have to ask. Fried jalapeños here are off the hook. If you like hot stuff that is

Consistent great food. Service was fast and friendly. I had the chicken nachos and my husband had the beef fajitas. Both came out hot and fresh. Chips and salsa or delivered fast and fresh and just as good as I expected. Our server was attentive and came back often to check on times and if we needed anything, even though there was a large party beside us. I’ve eaten at three different locations and each one was consistently good

This is THEBEST Mexican food I’ve ever had! I ordered the Special La Casa(two beef burritos, rice, & refried beans) and omg delicious! The décor is so colorful and really has an authentic feel to it. Our waiter was a man of few words, but he did a good job. I am definitely coming back!

Pretty typical Tex-Mex with a few nice extra touches. Décor is very good and they have some great margarita deals by the pitcher and half-pitcher. Food was also a cut above. They had live music there the night we visited with the singer belting out south of the border classics like Sweet Caroline, Boogie Shoes, and more. Since the only other competition is Taco Bell, this sort of wins by default.

I love Mexican food and have always been happy with the food here except for one thing. When you order fajitas and choose to have corn tortillas rather than flour tortillas, make sure that you specify that they are steamed and not dipped in grease. That’s what they gave me the last time I was there and I was pretty shocked. And it was a tiny bit of oil. It was dripping, saturated, grossly oily. That is the reason I gave the restaurant a 3 rather than a 4.

Good food combined with nice staff made for a pleasant experience. However, one thing plagued this experience and made it an average dining experience overall: sub-par service and attention from the server. We ordered guac, but never got any and it took us a good 10 minutes to get our server’a attention so we could get our check fixed and a box to go. But like I said, the food was really good and the staff were all really pleasant to interact with. Barring the poor service, I would have given this place 4 stars.

When I’m in Cambridge this is always a must. I’ve had a lot of the menu & I’ve never been disappointed. The owners are so friendly and thankful for loyal customers. The service is super fast & their new bar is beautiful, made from parts shipped in from Mexico.

If the option for zero stars were available, i would give it. Went to have dinner here. Bad, bad, bad decision. Dont waste your time. First i was seated at a booth where i was squished between table and booth back(i am thin). Then, after moving, waited 10 minutes for drinks and chips/salsa. Meanwhile two other tables were seated. After about 5 minutes after receiving our drinks a waiter came and took our order. We waited, and waited, and waited… The other two tables were served. We waited, and waited, and waited… You get the idea. 45 minutes later we got up and left. Worst dining experience ever! If you have your heart set on tlaquepaque, take the extra ½ hr(less time than we wasted waiting) and drive to st clairesville ohio. Their tlaquepaque is awesome. Great service and food and the owners are wonderful.

Stopped here for dinner. Good food, very reasonable prices, cold beer and fast service. What’s not to like?

This is not authentic Mexican cuisine. There are no tortas, soft corn tortillas, agua de horchata, or caldos. Instead it is just Americanized Mexican food, which works in this community because there is not much diversity. The food is not bad, it is decent, the salsa is way too mild for my taste. The margaritas are popular with the locals, and it is decently priced.

I stopped at Tlaquepaque in September 2011 while travelling through the area and had a wonderful meal with my parents. What the mariachi band provided a fun and festive atmosphere for our dinner meal. The food was very good and the service was excellent. My father and I stopped in again in September 2012 for a weekday lunch. The food was again excellent and the service was solid. We did not wait long for our meal. The restaurant setting is not fancy but it is decent. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, this is not the place. If you are looking for good Mexican food and service at a good price, this is the place. The price is right. The food is great. The service is excellent. We will be back again when we are in the Cambridge, Ohio area.

Out on the east coast, it’s hard to find the little family owned, hole in the wall, authentic Mexican food places that I grew up with in San Diego. Whenever I find such a place, I’ll gladly sample it, especially if my only other options are your standard fast food chains. Tlaquepaque is decent, but not great. My first warning came when I ordered drinks — the waiter didn’t know what horchata is. Second heads up came when they brought out the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa had a good flavor, but was considerably milder than I had expected. It was still good, but didn’t have the heat that I’m used to. My wife and I split the two person fajita platter and it was tasty, but again, not quite as spicy or flavored as intensely as you might expect from Mexican food. It also had broccoli in it, which was a first for me in a Mexican restaurant. Overall, the food was good, but just didn’t have quite as much flavor as I was hoping to get. Still, it was relatively inexpensive and filling. I’d stop by again.
