I like this place. They stock my favorite B&J flavor (Coffee Heath Bar Crunch) and they’ve got a little bit of everything else. Yes, prices are a bit more expensive than Shaw’s and no, you won’t find that organic spice you need for your favorite Epicurious recipe. However, I count myself among those who visited Tommy’s the Friday of our recent blizzard and was oh so grateful for the convenient chance to stock up on eggs, oatmeal and Chobani yogurt.

The management is nice and, generally, friendly to the customer (even if its 1:59am, and they close at 2). While the selection is not great, it has a little bit of everything to provide for any craving or need. They recently renovated to make the space slightly less cramped and cleaner looking too. All in all, beats the heck out of 7 – 11 and CVS (which is even more overpriced than Tommy’s!).

Convenient, but overpriced, and nothing really fresh like fruit. They do have toiletries, so I got a box of tissue at one point in time. Not sure how late they open.

It’s pretty gross. The selection is bad. The store is convenient, though. What can I say? Go here if it’s too cold to make it to CVS…

The one time I went to this store, I saw a rat. It’s under new management, and I hear it’s much cleaner and that the owner is friendly and customer-oriented, so I have adjusted my rating to be fair. I’ll give the place another chance, but if I see another rat…
