Absolutely amazing… one of my favorite places to eat… food is amazing, and great atmosphere and service. Highly recommend trying the cheesecakes for desert. Awesomeness!

Such fun! Went for happy hour! Eddie the bartender is such a refreshing person. His menu suggestions were very helpful. We or went for drinks and snacks but the triple dips and swordfish bits were very flavorful. The beer section was quite nice with a good selection of local brews. Great ambiance in the small town of Camden.

Stopped in on the way home from a long day on the river in Columbia and we were ravished. Scored savory meals and full quarts of ice water when we decided to eat here. Relaxed seating, mix-match plates, dark walls, and dim lighting made for a good vibe. My abundance of okra and shrimp were lingering in a perfectly spiced broth and left me all warm inside despite the slight chill I got from the ceiling fans.

I’ve been to this place a half dozen times to enjoy all you can eat crab legs and craft brews on Tuesday nights. I went this past Tues and was told there were no tables available. I went to the rest room and saw five open tables and asked the manager what’s up? He said they were reserved by call ahead patrons. I asked if my party of two could sit at the bar, asking for a chair used by a staff member at a small table to sit next to the one open chair at the bar. To which the manager claimed the chair was broken and went on to say that if it was my plan to eat crab legs, that they were all already spoken for. I’ve never had to call ahead before and there was nothing in any of their advertising online that indicated I needed to call ahead now. I’d called previously to be sure they were still open and still offered crab legs on Tuesdays. No one told me that I should call ahead. Just said yet they’re open and yes they still had the all you can eat crab legs on Tuesday evenings. Never again will I visit this place. If you can’t find a way to accommodate a customer who drives from 30 minutes away then I’m not interested. And if you can’t advertise that a special is while supplies last /limited, call ahead, then you don’t know how to run a business and retain customers. I walked two doors down and had great service, brews and food at Sam Kendall’s.

Food was fantastic!!! Little loud, but good, conversation loud. My server(Kat) was good, attentive, and offered suggestions when asked. The atmosphere was energetic and fun, I will definitely be back to try something new on the menu!

Didn’t get to try the food but they had five great beers on draft. When it was time for the bill it was under 20 bucks and it was four of us. Probably the only place I know of in Camden to get a quality pint.

This sweet little restaurant is located in an old bank right in the heart of Camden. True to it’s southern charm, there is a lot of delicious pimento cheese on the menu. In fact I had the Palmetto Philly which has shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, portobello mushrooms, pimento cheese and a jalapeño kicker… Good stuff! I even asked for a side of their homemade gravy for my french fries. I highly suggest this option. My friend got a pimento cheese BLT on ciabatta roll which was also delicious. One unique feature from the old bank is the money vault that provides seating as well.

I was visiting Camden for a wedding, and hifalutin was my first introduction to the town. First of all, I think the fact that it’s built and a historic bank is basically the coolest thing ever! They even have a huge set up in the old vault, like in the John Dillinger days. The penny tables and the fried green tomatoes are so welcome thing and bring me back to the southern hospitality that I love and miss now that I live in Washington DC. They have great craft beers on tap, and the manager makes incredible cocktails to order… Don’t be afraid to ask him for something that isn’t on the menu board to create something special! The blackened salmon out what it is fantastic, and the ribs were basically falling off the bone. I also recommend trying the peanut butter and jelly cheesecake dessert… I know it sounds weird, but they make a mean Chambourd sauce and it ends up being really delicious! Don’t miss it if you’re just passing through the small town!

Love their weekly specials, atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Awesome crab legs, and where do you still get beers on happy hour for a dollar? Great place!

We have been faithful customers and always bring a crowd with us but tonight they refused to serve us ribs because they are«saving» them for Thursday rib night. Really? One rack of ribs can’t be replaced? If they had told us that up front instead of after we ordered we would have left. Ridiculous.

Dirty bathrooms, men and women’s. It looked like they hadn’t been attended to all week. No seat covers, and floor was gross. Trash can was ¾ full with waste, so obviously hadn’t been emptied in awhile. Food was meh. Restaurant was empty.

Best crab legs ever. You walk in and you hear shells cracking, you order, you crack, and pull out the meat. Every leg is loaded, best ever. First visit was amazing, returned the following week, same as the first, best legs ever.

Enjoyed the live music on Friday night. The food was excellent. The grilled chicken and the Mac n cheese burger both came on a soft pretzel bun. I’ve also had the Palmetto dog, a hot dog with chili and pimento cheese, great combination! The fries are fresh cut and loved the onion rings– crispy with a spicy kick. Its a small place but nice ambiance. Very attentive service. All around great place to eat.
