Krystal’s Lounge

My bestie and fellow Unilocaler Shante P suggested this place on a random Wednesday evening. We were a little light on cash and wanted cheap drinks. Happy Hour is from 7−9…$ 2 anything. I’m a licensed bartender so I do peek around to see what their «well» liquors are. Surprisingly, their well liquors were mid shelf. This bar is a dive, the patrons are regulars and kinds give unknowns the «eye». Nothing crazy. They were pretty friendly to us. Karaōke was on and popping. Older bartenders and generous pours for $ 2. However, once it hit around 8. the crowd changed to a younger group and happy hour quickly ended. I’ve seen this done at plenty of places, but it’s kinda false advertising when you say 7 – 9.then end it early because the bar gets crowded. Alot of the patrons showed their disgust and left. I do like the place though. However, it’s Camden and not sure how often I’d frequent this spot.
