This place is small but cute. The view off the back porch was lovely. The food was the best we have so far in Maine. It was so tasty and fresh. Our waitress Becky was so nice and prompt. I would highly recommend a stop here.

Great local spot for freshest seafood. Very friendly staff. Porch seating overlooking the Meg unto cook River waterfall! Haddock reuben was the best we have ever had. Lobster roll is so fresh. Haddock chowder was incredible. Daughter loved the BLT. Prices are average. Daily specials are great.

Our party of two adults stopped for lunch on a Monday. They were busy so we waited for about 15 mins to be seated. Service was prompt and attentive. Food arrived quickly(within 15 mins) and was good. We had sandwiches and chowder. Seating mainly booths so not the place for large parties. One shared RR. Closes @ 2:00pm. Good food with no frills = a good value.

Great dinner! The turkey club, fish and chips and kids menu were spot on! Service was quick and the staff was super nice

Nice restaurant in the heart of Camden. The French fries were done just right lightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The lobster roll was one of the best. They give more meat for a reasonable price

Had the blueberry pancakes that everyone raved about in their reviews. The pancakes were good but not so special you would make it a destination eatery. The atmosphere was that of an old diner. Limited menu. Overall not unpleasant but nothing to rave about either.

We visited this restaurant because of the positive reviews on Unilocal but we were dismayed to have quite the opposite experience. We ordered blueberry pancakes based on all of the great reviews but they arrived overdone and rubbery. We also had the clam chowder, in which you could see the butter and cream separated in the bowl. It was very greasy and was disappointing. The fish and chips were probably the best thing we ordered, and yet they were nothing to write home about. It seemed like they were frozen and not the best quality. In general, the restaurant seemed to be understaffed. We did visit during the off season which may account for our bad experience.

The corned beef hash was out of this world. Crowded and the Credit Card machine didn’t work but the food was very good.

Always good! Been having breakfast here, and sometimes lunch, for many years! Simple and straight forward diner food, right on the main drag of Camden. Sits right on the harbor! Homemade muffins, huge blueberry pancakes, enormous omelettes! This place is been anchor in downtown Camden for many years!

After our other Maine diners this bowl of fish chowder was«engh». The crab cakes, we’re super fresh, hot and spicy! Delicious! Our BLT was good, thick crunchy bacon, tomatoes with flavor. Yum. Be prepared — The wait for a table was long… it’s a tiny place when the cold settles in and the deck is no longer in use.

Camden is a cute little town with lots of choices, but I highly recommend this place. The service to get a table and to pay your check is very unorganized. And I wish they would keep the doors closed to keep the flies out. That seems to be a big Northeastern issue though. But those are my only complaints. Our server was very good and very quick. The Blueberry Pancakes are to die for! You get a little pancakes with your blueberries. You will not have a bite that doesn’t have blueberries in it. And I highly recommend just getting two. Two of them filled me up and I didn’t even have any eggs. meat or potatoes with them. My Dad and Sister had the grilled cheese, which they said was one of the best they’ve ever had. And we all shared a HUGE piece of blueberry pie. Best I’ve ever had. And it was $ 27 for all of that and three sodas and a cup of coffee. You can’t beat that.

Fantastic blueberry pancakes served with fresh maple syrup are absolutely killer! Fried egg and bacon were perfect as well. This is a very nice diner with a harbour view and an absolutely wonderful waitress. As a tip, they serve the blubes as singles or as a stack.

We went here for an early breakfast based on the recommendation of a past Camden resident. We got seated right away on a rainy Friday morning. After looking over the menu, it was nice to see that there was many specials to choose from for breakfast, which ranged from $ 5 to $ 8, all included the typcial, eggs, bacon/sauage, etc. But star of the breakfast was without a doubt the blueberry pancakes… delish and with local Maine blueberries. All in all, it was quick and easy breakfast at your local Maine diner. Also, if you have time be sure to check out the view from deck that looks out to the harbor water, it’s beautiful. Also make note, they close early 2pm.

Great view, even better lobster rolls, and the best chowder — just like my Gram used to make. I grew up in Maine but don’t get back often. This place is very much a typical downeast Maine restaurant, right down to the 1 person booth tables!

Beautiful view of the water on the back porch! Worth the 10 minute wait for an outdoor table. The prices were extremely affordable but I was disappointed with my blueberry pancakes. They weren’t very flavorful and the maple syrup(that I paid an extra $ 1 for) was not that sweet and seemed watered down. My boyfriend had the fish and eggs, which was a lot of food. He loved it though. Seems like a great place for locals but not a fine dining experience. The service wasn’t very good. We had to ask our waitress 2 times for the apple juice and 1 extra time for the maple syrup.

Let me just say one thing. THEBLUEBERRYPANCAKESAREAMAZING!!! They have vegan sausage, very tasty. Great service, great hashbrowns. The only problem I have ever had is once the home fries were burnt. But its still great! :)

Whenever I’m in Camden, I come to the Marriner for some chowder. Hailed as the last affordable lunch in Camden(truth), the Marriner is an old-school place with a simple, people-pleasing, and reasonably priced menu. Pretty much everything on the menu is done right. They have all the classics like a good clam chowder, shrimp/lobster rolls, fish sandwiches, etc., and they do them right. Service is friendly. If you’re there in the summer, definitely sit outside and look over the harbor, it’s an amazing view!

We stopped in to Marriner’s first thing in the morning to fuel up on caffeine and some great blueberry pancakes. First off, for great views, head to the back of the restaurant. Marriner’s overlooks the harbor and if you’re so inclined and the weather is cooperating, there is a lovely deck overlooking the water and the falls. We tucked into a booth just inside and were promptly served some decent coffee. Not quite strong enough, but it got the job done. Barely looked at the menu as we both were jonesing for those ‘cakes. I had the link sausage(well-done, thank you very much!) and hubby had the patties. Real maple syrup is a buck extra for a pretty decent size cup. Get it. I could go on a rant about corn syrup masquerading as «maple syrup»…but.ahem. Pancakes and meat were both really good. Why not a 5-star then? Sadly, I’m a stickler for coffee, plus refills were too slow in coming(she did make it back, but I was almost to the point of getting up and finding someone — the horror!). Other than that, she was sweet and very friendly. Just needs to understand about coffee in the morning! LOL

Located directly across from The Lord Camden Inn on Main Street this casual restaurant serves all 3 meals. Today I ordered the seafood platter and sat outside in the back patio which has a nice view of the waterfalls and bay. When the food came out it was plentiful and very good. It contained haddock, shrimp, clam strips and scallops along with fries and cole slaw for $ 16. Like I said it was very good. Also my ice tea was very good too. My only negative was poor service. I guess sitting outside caused my waitress to forget about me and not get me any timely tea refill. I still recommend this place for a good, casual meal.
