When six people come in for lunch and the server says«HOWMANY!!!» vs. a «Hello» or some other greeting I was concerned. Unfortunately things did not improve. Twice I had to go to bar for our refills as server was busy talking to other servers. Two of us ordered«well done» and got nothing close. Cold fries. Stale buns on hamburger. Just really bad food and service. There are far too many good places on the lake to eat to contend with this place.

I’d love to review the food, but after waiting an hour, it still hasn’t arrived. For a lakeside restaurant, you’d think they were surprised to be crowded on a nice evening. We always enjoy this place when it’s not crowded, but the least bit of a crowd, and the whole house of cards comes crashing down!

Fun Place to visit at the lake! Drinks and food are great! Try the Hurricane Larry, spin dip, pizza and fried green beans! Love the bartenders! Great live music!!!

Took my son here for a late lunch on Sunday. Wow… major disappointment from a year ago. My tenderloin, a signature menu item was over fried/kind of had a burned taste. Or maybe it had bad oil or something? The fries looked so oily & nasty I didn’t eat a single one. My son had a philly steak sandwich & onion rings. He’s 20 yrs old and usually devours most anything. He left half of his onion rings and a third of his sandwich. Maybe the cook was new or they’re more practiced at pouring beer… which is difficult to mess up. Our dude server had zero personality. The gal serving the nearby tables seemed awesome? The dock girls were great & very helpful. It looks like a great atmosphere, but way disappointing. Too many other choices on this side of the lake to try before we return. Sorry Larry.

First time here and it will be the last. Over an hour wait. Too many choices at the lake with better service.

We came here twice in one weekend! It was such a great lakeside place to relax, eat unique good food, and have some drinks. I love that they have lifesize Jenga(though I admit, when I heard it fall over I thought someone had fallen!). They are reasonably priced for the lake and have an expansive drink menu. My one critique is that they seem understaffed, though the staff present was very nice, attentive as possible, and efficient. If you are in the mood to stop off while on a boat, Larry’s is the place to be!

This place seems to be a «Bar» more than a place to eat. When we stopped the restaurant was empty; the food seemed more bar type so we didn’t stay. They had a game room, but most people were on the«floating bar.» Which was basically a dock with taps. Seems this was the real highlight to Larry’s. Since you can’t really drink on the lake anymore. Most people hit the bar’s, and that seemed like what this place was all about.

Great summer stop in a quieter cove at the lake. Stopped by a few Saturday’s for their live music. I like the dock layout(for seeing bands) and the drinks were really good. Food was good but not as good as the drinks, mostly fried. Worth the drive or boat trip. It’s definitely a good spot for the summer.

Fun place right on the lake. Heck, the lower deck is a floating bar. Server was friendly and right on track taking care of us. Food was tasty. We both ordered the catfish strips basket. Catfish cooked and seasoned well. We had a choice of sides. I choose the coleslaw and my husband choose the fries. Both prepared well and very generous portions. Even had fries left over to feed fish. Pretty good margarita and good selection of good beer.

45 minutes waiting and nobody’s waited on us yet. Plenty of food runners who have no people skills

Fun spot! Above average bar food — great wing specials on Thursday nights but be prepared to wait as they are always packed and your food will come out at staggered times. Hard to complain about waiting when you have a beautiful view of the lake though.

What a difference a year makes. — for the worse. Some of Larrywood staff act too important to slop beers or check on tables needs. To add insult to injury, they added a 20% not deserved tip which management wouldn’t reduce. Our solution: we will no longer frequent this business. Other places will benefit instead. Their buck a «bone» Monday is now a crap shoot whether there will be anything left to enjoy. I miss last year’s predictability.

Mediocre at best. Our family of 19 was on vacation so we came here. The fish tacos were bland, the catfish(nuggets?) Were bland, and even the potato salad was awful. I was expecting fresh fish, however our waitress forgot to bring tartar sauce until after I finished my meal. The view on the lake is scenic, but the live band they had playing wasn’t that good either. On the plus side, $ 2 drafts were a good value

Wow what a bummer food was terrible. .out of wings and Frys by 7. ordered pulled pork and had to return it was bad bad bad. Place was dirty and a mangy dog was running around eating off the floor and rubbings it’s butt on the floor. Total turn off can’t recommend to anyone except if you want a bottle of beer and ok view.

Okay. I love this place … The drinks that is. Ate there the other night with my pops; adorable waiter; fun people to party with; great view of the lake … But that food was the worst! Mushrooms unrecognizable, burnt and nearly inedible(the drinks helped wash those down) the fish and chips basket were slivers of I don’t even know what kind of fish and awful. I recommend this place, but bring your own food.

We’re not from around here but this place is a must see for anyone in the area! Stopped into this hidden gem this evening for .25 cent wings! Awesome atmosphere, great prices/specials/food, and friendly staff. Plenty of parking for cars and boats and tons of room for eating, drinking, and partying!

Just a great lakeside venue! It is big, spacious and fun. Great people watching for sure. Food is good but typical for the lake. They also pour a good drink which is better than most. The owners are hands on and may just be bussing your table. They are not«hoity-toity», they are hard working and responsive. Once, a friend got off our boat and fainted on Larry’s dock. The owners were the first one there and consistently checked on my poor friend’s needs. You can’t go wrong here, great boat protection from the main channel, too.

Four Seasons, Lake Ozark, & Osage Beach lakeview restaurants are LUCKY that Larry’s on the Lake is in Camdenton, or this place would steal everyone’s business. Great pretzel burgers, great atmosphere, great lake view, great service, great menu, and they are sooo dog friendly and have awesome daily specials unique to the area! Long story short, I had a HORRIBLE experience with Shorty Pants Lounge in Osage Beach and Larry’s on the Lake saved the day! Shorty Pants advertises and allows dogs when they feel like it… One day, I made a 25 minute commute with my 12 lbs dog and Shorty Pants kicked me out. I stumbled upon Larry’s and called them to see if I could bring her. Not only did they apologize FOR Shorty Pants, they welcomed us with doggy treats & a water bowl! Great place! And check out the photos I added!

Just an all around fun place on the lake. For not being up in the busier part of the lake, Larry’s has it all. This is a great place for kids/families who want to grab a bite, and people who want to partake in a little day drinking(minus kids of course). The food was gourmet compared to what they serve at Captain Ron’s. Really, the food was quite good. Lake bar food, but good none the less. I really liked the nacho’s which was a great suggestion by our awesome server. Especially when it’s noon, and I’m on my 3rd captain and coke. Since I am the Kato Kalin(sp?) with regards to boating(ie. I do not have, nor care to have, or drive one) I get to do all the fun drinking while our captain stays sober. Yeah! The cho’s hit the spot. Probably shouldn’t have switched to Stella later in the day, but that’s another story. What makes this place good for kids is because after looking around the Larrywood compound(they have a big ass Larrywood sign) I saw an arcade, and then they have this jumpy thingy in the lake. I think it was the thing where one person jumps on to it, and it launches the other person into the water… Also great was that during the day, there were no rowdy, or disrespectful people there. Very laid back place to get some eats, and drinks on the lake! Now, this is the lake, and you can travel by boat which means when you go to Larry’s you have to dock your boat right? Well, you’ll need a deckhand waiting for you, and Larry’s got it covered. Ohhhhhh yeah they do. Probably the greatest deckhands on the lake. I would go here for the deckhands alone, and call the food and atmosphere a bonus. If you want great food, service, and a great time in the Camdenton area go to Larry’s! Uh yeah… if you need to buy clothes, they have that too. I parked my pwc, and hopped on the boat while leaving my flippies and shirt behind. After realizing I forgot my clothes I became frantic, and panicky while pulling into the dock. On the verge of tears, I saw the Larry’s T-Shirt hut, and began to tell myself that everything will be alright. Incidentally, most places are No Shoes, No Shirt, No Dice… Larry was all like, it’s all good player, just buy a shirt and go barefoot. Done. The server said I could go shirtless, but considering my sun starved skin makes me look like a cast member from Twilight, I opted in on the shirt purchase.

Great destination if your out on the water! Plenty of boat parking with nice newer docks! Jet Ski parking also! Large outside covered Floating Tiki Deck! The Larry’s Salad is very good & large with a variety of greens, I get it with grilled chicken, but there are several options. Specials on wings & shrimp during the week for .25 cents, and ribs a buck a bone! Service is friendly & fast! Good food for the lake!
