Even though I am not currently renting a property through Select Property Management, I have to share the very pleasant experience I had with them, in particular Summer Smiley, when I was searching for a property to rent.
I was searching for a rental in Folsom while still residing 85 miles away. I was having a very hard time finding a nice place to live that wasn’t being snatched up right away by renters who didn’t have to drive 85 miles to tour a property.
There was a property listed by Select Properties that wasn’t available for showing yet. Summer allowed me to get pre approved for that property so that I would be first in line when it was available. The approval process was less than 24 hours and Summer called me right away to let me know that I was approved.
Summer showed the property to me the day after the tenant moved out since she knew I was in a time crunch. Unfortunately the property wasn’t a fit for me and I rented a different property that same day through a different property manager.
If the property was a fit, I would have had no hesitation to rent from Select Properties because of the responsiveness and friendliness they showed me during the «looking» phase.

Our experience with Select was excellent. The house was clean and in good repair, utilities were prorated by Select (water and propane companies will not do this for you, but Select prorates for their tenants), and little repair issues that arose were handled timely. An excellent experience!
