Dairy Queen

We ate here back in May and the service was ok. But just last week we returned while traveling and noticed lots of serious problems with this location.
1. There was the WORST smell EVER in the women’s bathroom. My mom came out of there looking shocked and complaining about the smell.
2. The staff was very slow and did not wait on the front counter as fast as they did the drive through. The line got very long in the lobby and customers were starting to grumble before they finally finished making blizzards and waited on customers.
3. There was soda spilled over a chair, table and the floor when we arrived at 2pm. We told the clerks about it but they did nothing.
4. We told them twice to clean the lady’s bathroom and empty the trash due to smell before they fixed it.
The food was fine. The staff and service need serious changes.

Well tried to do the blizard for kids… Problem is they ran out of ice cream… How can you run out of ice cream at a DQ… Poor planning… poor service… Now I see why they got one star.

The young staff seemed to be decent at their work — there are so many items at a full brazier DQ that I’m not surprised to read the other review on here. Still, I have to say that my small cone and my mother’s small cone were clearly different sizes. Now, not every cone is going to have the signature curl on top (I used to work there –takes awhile to get the hang of it) but you’ve gotta at least make sure both small cones sold to a pair of people are the same size. That’s all I’ve got — the place looked clean, and the staff were friendly.

Why is it all dairy queens seem like they are in major meltdown anytime a customer is in the store, we came here for dinner and the cashier had trouble working the register and some of our food was wrong. We obviously wasn’t the only one because they were averaging remaking something on every ticket… To bad cause I use to really like dairy queen when I was a kid.
